Students are expected to discuss developments in long-term care policy in the country of student’s choice, identify major issues and challenges related to the long-term care provision and make suggestions for improvement based on their findings.
• In order to answer the question, you are required to:
– Discuss developments in residential care policy in the UK
– Identify challenges related to the provision of the type of care.
– Make suggestions for improvement to overcome the challenges identified
• Identify key health and social care challenges of an ageing society in a country of the student’s choice.
• Explore the development of health and social care policy in a country of the student’s choice and study how they addressed the challenges.
• Critically evaluate recent health and social care reforms in a country of the student’s choice and make suggestions for improvement.
