What was the main character struggling for?

watch any of the following movies:
“Harriet” (2019)
“On the Basis of Sex” (2018)
“Marshall” (2017)
“Loving” (2016)
“Hidden Figures” (2016)
“Milk” (2008)
After you watch one of these movies, you must submit a one page paper, single spaced, with just one line for the header which should be the title of the film.
