What are public problems solved through policymaking, and what are the difficulties involves in implementing public policies?

Please choose one of the following categories of public policy; domestic, economic, foreign, or social policy. Write a 5-6 page paper on that specific category. Your paper should be framed as follows:

1. What are the steps in policymaking?
2. How is public policy made?
3. What are public problems solved through policymaking, and what are the difficulties involves in implementing public policies?
4. Explain the type of policy you have chosen, i.e. what is domestic, economic, foreign or social policy exactly?
5. Give several examples of the policy you have chosen and explain what they are and their intended outcomes/consequences.
6. What might be some unintended outcomes/consequences (path dependency)?
7. What is your assessment of the policy’s effectiveness? Explain.
   For full credit, you must complete all seven steps listed in these instructions. Your informative essay must be at least five pages long (New Times Roman, 12 pt. font, 1” margins, paginated). By at least five pages, I mean five FULL pages with at least a sentence on the sixth page.
   Do not use contractions or write in the first person. Do include a Works Cited/Reference page, using MLA, Chicago, or Turabian, style (the reference page IS NOT included in your pagination count). I will read and make suggestions on rough drafts that are sent to me.
