Assignment Task – Proposal
The chief executive of your organisation has asked you to identify a potential change that will require
to be implemented within the next two years.
They wish you to produce a change proposal that will be considered by the senior executive team.
The change proposal should focus on a single issue. For example, this may help your organisation to;
develop a new product or service, to introduce a new technological solution, or maintain compliance
with new regulations that are to be introduced.

There should be a financial evaluation of the change proposal and this should look at the implications
for both revenue and capital budgets over a multi-year period and identify a range of possible
outcomes.

how these might be overcome.

The weighting for each element is indicative as are the Learning Outcomes identified against each

the module to successfully pass the module and must therefore make sure that they give sufficient

If you are unable to use your own organisation for this assignment you may use another organisation
with which you are familiar. You will need to let your module tutor know
what you are planning to do in advance of submitting the assessment and your assignment should
include a brief rationale for this change.
Where a student does not have direct access to an appropriate organisation then they may be permitted
by the module tutor to prepare a literature review on identifying and leading strategic change within
an organisation. A student may only select this option when they can demonstrate to the module
tutor’s satisfaction that they do not have access to an appropriate organisation.
