Context
You are a senior manager of a multi-national bank which is one of the world’s most established and largest banking and financial services organisations.
In its efforts to compete with disruptive Fintech rivals such as Revolut, the bank has appointed you to set up a challenger bank which will be an autonomous division of the parent company.
The Task
The Directors have asked you to report on how the challenger bank should be set up.
In this report you need to give a comprehensive view of the strategy and operation including at least three of the topics covered in the module. You are not required to cover all the topic areas featured in the module.
Critically evaluate the concepts and theories that may be appropriate to make your new division successful from a managerial perspective. You may want to consider a variety of contemporary issues in management aspects such as leadership, change management, culture, marketing, disruptive innovation, human resource management. Your selected topics must be chosen from the module.
