The background of the study is good, a proper introduction for the research subject, clear with good referencing and citations. The rationale needs to focus on the statement of the research problem. Even though it is well written, it should clearly state the problem this research is focusing on.

The aim is very well written and provides a good idea of what is expected from the research deliverables. The objectives could be improved since the aim is to establish the influence of construction policies, it might be helpful to explain the process through the objectives.

The literature review is well written with good identification and explanation of the main terms used in this research. Section 2.4 the gaps could benefit from some additional citations and references.

The research methodology is good, could benefit from a rationale of choice that better explain the research methods adopted.

Overall the report is well written and a good start to the research project.
