How Can we Educate ourselves to be able to walk in solidarity with indigenous people?

: How can we educate, what is required and what to do to work in solidarity with Indigenous peoples in the Americas?

My Research topic is How can we educate, what is required and what to do to work in solidarity with indigenous people in the Americas. The proposed thesis of my essay is: I believe more than feeling sorry for the indigenous communities of the Americas people we should properly learn the history of the violation that all of our Nations endured and stop dismissing our stories as something in the past or something so lost is not worth fighting for. I hope to interest people with the support of documented historic events, scholarly articles, and resources on researching their roots, what is required, and what to do to work in solidarity with indigenous people in The Americas – As a newer or younger generation of the Native American Indigenous I feel the need for our land to heal to be respected and to ensure our territories are going to stop been marginalized, and despair in the eyes of the world, we need proper change and for all the treaties of the Americas to be respected so we can reconcile with the land, our past, and newcomers to our countries so we can all work in solidarity towards one another, understanding our social location and privileges.

Questions my Research will answer?
How Can we Educate ourselves to be able to walk in solidarity with indigenous people?
Why should we embrace and know our roots?
How can I care and why should I care, the Social location and privilege I uphold, and how to identify them?
How can I help? Where can I learn to work in solidarity with indigenous people?
