Identify the emotion(s) meant to be elicited

In a short paper, present a website that includes imagery, text or interactive elements that appear to be designed to elicit a particular emotional reaction from the visitor.

1) Identify the emotion(s) meant to be elicited 2) Indicate the way, as exactly/precisely as possible, the emotion(s) are provoked. 3) Is there are targeted type of visitor? (Gender, race, SES, religion, etc.?) Or is this meant to affect indiscriminately all visitors alike? 4) Infer or speculate thoughtfully on the purpose (i.e., sales, subscription/joining group/club/religion etc.) 5) On a scale of 1 to 5, how effective (that is, hard to resist) do you believe manipulation is? Feel free to comment on anything else that you think is notable, important or relevant about what your selected website does with emotional content. As always, remember I care less about length than the quality of your work. 1.5 to 2 pages double spaced is a suggested length only, if your paper is slightly shorter, or longer, and gets the job done well, that is much more important to me than the count of words or pages. Please include a reference page (MLA or APA) with your site address, the textbook and/or notes and materials provided by the instructor here. Or any other sites or books your reference.

No Pages files (if you use Apple products, make your file into an RTF or PDF.) If you use google docs, make sure you save it as a Word docx or PDF and then upload it here in that form. Do not use the textbox for your example, find one of your own. If your formatting is sloppy or inadequate, the paper may receive a zero.
