Your group project is to write a report on 2 areas of ‘fintech’ that you find most interesting/promising.

Describe the potential market for the technology, how it will impact banks and society. What are the trade offs? Who stands to gain or lose?

Within the 2 areas of fintech you chose, tell me who the market leaders are at the moment and how did they get there?

Propose your own fintech product. Describe your market and your competition.

Your report must be properly referenced. You may use any resource available except: (1) students outside your group, (2) faculty members, (3) online research paper services.

If you have questions regarding the project, please do not hesitate to let me know. I will help as much as I can. However, please keep in mind that you should ask me questions as soon as is practical. Do not wait until the last minute.

There is no limit on the length of this report. However, there is no reward for a lengthy paper that is low on content. It is easy to turn a short paper into a long one. It is much more difficult to do the opposite. Please make your paper “to-the-point” but complete.

In consideration of all of the above, your report should be double spaced and about 10 pages in length.
