The point of the paper is to explore how people get their news using available information technology. More specifically, you will explore what sources they use for news, how credible they find available sources, and how much effort they put into verifying what they find.Put differently, you are exploring people?s satisfactory behavior regarding their acquisition of news using information technology. Satisficing is a function of the value of the source and the effort one puts into searching for and verifying said source. Do people just passively find and accept whatever news they stumble across or do people bother to verify the news they obtain?To answer these questions and explore people?s use of information technology we have created a survey for you to take and to send out to 4 other adults to assess their use of information technology for getting news.
