Acid-base extraction Lab Report

Experiment overview: We will continue exploring extraction methods this week. Using acid-base chemistry, we will separate a mixture of three compounds by means of liquid-liquid extraction. One of the compounds, benzoic acid, will be purified by recrystallization. You will determine its yield and the melting point, and then submit it to your TA at the end of the lab period.
