Newton’s Third Law of Motion states: When a force due to Object A acts on Object B, then a force due to Object B also exerts a force on Object A as well. Newton’s Third Law of Motion is sometimes called the Law of Equal Action and Reaction. An example of Newton’s Third Law is the flight of a bird. While flying in the air, a bird’s wings push the air downwards, and at the same time, air also pushes its wings with an equal and opposite force in the upward direction which results in flight.
