Write a response to this prompt: Using just a small crew and one film camera, Peter Watkins worked with actors who were genuinely critical of systems of oppression in the U.S. in order to create the 1971 film, Punishment Park. Talk a bit about the film and how Watkins uses the genre of “pseudo-documentary” to make his critique. First, describe the film’s plot and the director’s strategy.
