What new insights did you gain through this reflective practice opportunity?

- What new insights did you gain through this reflective practice opportunity? How will this apply to your practice as a nurse practitioner? Be sure to use scholarly literature to support your position.
The situation you can talk about is having to do an emergent intubation being new to the ER. Talk about all the news media surrounds a nurse that lost her license from making a medical error and being uncomfortable with doctor yelling out orders and having to administer medication because u felt underprepared/uncomfortable because thats not something I use to doing working on a step down unit(inpatient hospital). You could use the discussion topic of ” my thoughts and feeling in the situation” second guessing myself or looking to someone else for help but having to do it quickly because it was an emergency situation. The only thing that made me feel a little at ease was having a great team of nurses to help me and not being alone because it was a team effort.
The situation you could go into detail about was i was working in the trauma bay but still on orientation and my preceptor was allowing me to take the lead in situations at this point and i had an overdose come in and we could not get her saturation up so i had to intubate her for respiratory distress. The doctor went to yelling out orders and i was a little overwelmed but she started yelling out how much proprofol and etomidate we were going to use but no orders were entered so i immediatatly started to second guess myself. but i was not alone and everyone jumped in to help and everyone has a role and everything went well
select a topic based on what i just wrote
two scholarly in-text citation with a matching reference, APA format, present information in logical, meaningful, and understandable sequence, and is clearly relevant to the discussion topic. Grammar, spelling, and/or punctuation are accurate.

- The Fourth Amendment prevents unreasonable searches and seizures.
- The Fifth Amendment affords people various rights in criminal and civil proceedings. Examples include the right to a grand jury and due process. It also allows people to protect themselves from self-incrimination, and it prohibits double jeopardy
- The Sixth Amendment guarantees various rights to criminal defendants, such as the right to a speedy trial, a lawyer, and an impartial jury. It also guarantees defendants the right to know who their accusers are and the nature of the charges and evidence against them.
