Are there any consistencies in the use of screen space through the film?

46 Pap2 Summ22
Consider Bordwell’s discussion of space in film. Elaborate on how space is used in Wall-E (Stanton) You should discuss the composition of screen space, story space, the dynamics of off-screen vs. on screen space, editing space vs. stage space, and mise-en-scene. As you are watching the film, ask yourself the following questions:

  • Are there any consistencies in the use of screen space through the film?
-Is the action presented on screen or is it construed as coming from an off-screen space?
-How does the film’s presentation of space cue and/or constrain, or frustrate, or even mislead, the viewers attempt to reconstruct the story?
-How is the space of the action presented through the arrangement of the mise-en-scene?
-How does the film’s editing contribute to our sense of where things (characters, objects, sets) are positioned in the film?
identify and describe an appropriate qualitative method for two stages in the planning cycle

Topic: Using Qualitative Methods
Return to the public health pyramid in Chapter BELOW, and identify a service level. Then identify and describe an appropriate qualitative method for two stages in the planning cycle (for example, assessment, planning, monitoring, outcome evaluation). Be sure to define the qualitative method and comprehensively explain why you chose it in alignment with the service level identified.
Include TWO academic references above 2017

Would you expect this tailoring to compromise the utility of the qualitative methods or the results? Why or why not?

PART-2
Consider that the planning cycle stages are often subject to various resource constraints (for example, budget, human capital, time, et cetera) in community/public health settings., assume that the assessment, planning, monitoring, and outcome evaluation is occurring in a resource limited setting. Do you agree with identified qualitative method based on potential resource constraints? How could methods and strategies be tailored when resources are limited? Would you expect this tailoring to compromise the utility of the qualitative methods or the results? Why or why not?

Include THREE academic references above 2017

How far-ranging is the problem and how great is its impact? What’s the benefit of solving the problem?

Research Questions
Research questions are developed to help guide the authors through the literature for a given problem area. What were the open-ended questions asked and why did the student find (or not find) them adequate.
Relevance and Significance
The student should consider the following questions as they read through an article stating how the author(s) supported, or left unsupported the evidence, relevance, and significance of their research literature:
Why is there a problem? What groups or individuals are affected?
How far-ranging is the problem and how great is its impact? What’s the benefit of solving the problem?
What has been tried without success to correct the situation? Why weren’t those attempts successful? What are the consequences of not solving the problem?
How does the goal of the study address the research problem and how will the proposed study offer promise as a resolution to the problem?
How will the research add to the knowledge base?
What is the potential for generalization of the results?
What is the potential for original work?

What is the purpose of having effective size?

Topic: A Proven Effect
In Unit 6, you had the opportunity to give a town hall presentation to your community. As the director of the local public health department, stakeholders such as academicians, health professionals, state health department staff, representatives from affected communities, and representatives from nongovernmental organizations are looking to you to understand all aspects of the strategic planning process, as well as the results of the community needs assessment.
Using terms that anyone (academician or lay person with no statistical background) could understand, concisely answer the following questions:
How can you determine (prove) that the public health intervention or approach (applied to a specific community need/problem) you presented will have an effect?
What is the purpose of having effective size?
What is the definition of significance (significance testing)?
As you make decisions about the sustainability of the intervention presented, would affect size or significance be most important in your decision-making process? Why?

How do the views expressed above align with Covey’s eight characteristics of a Principle-Centered Leader?

Assignment 1 – Leadership Defined (15%)  (Objective 1)
One take-a-way from this course is to grasp concepts that are integral to the Interactional Framework for Analyzing Educational Leadership.  This leadership environment is the interaction between four key elements:
the leader
the follower
the mission (task, goal, etc.)
interacting in a given (situation (contextual environment).
The cross-section of these four elements is where leaders tend to either succeed or fail.  The balancing act of these elements is not easy; it is filled with hurdles.  Nevertheless, this framework offers a lens through which to view leadership and the leadership developmental process.
An additional resource (e.g., video) is provides below (see link) to provide an example of how daily interactions with the world around us give us opportunities to help change lives. Click on the link below and view Drew Dudley’s story about “Everyday Leadership.”

What characteristics do they attribute to effective leaders?
How do the views expressed above align with Covey’s eight characteristics of a Principle-Centered Leader?

What kinds of data does your firm/organization collect?

Provide answers ranging from 150-200 words, approximately, for each part, depending on how much is being requested in the question.
a) Fully describe the career/position/organization based on which you will answer the questions related to data (not the data collection process). Be clear if this is your current position/firm or a position/firm you hope to transition into.
b) Start by describing your firm/organization and the industry you are in. Then tell us about the use of data in your firm/organization. What kinds of data does your firm/organization collect? What constitutes an “observation” in the examples you provide? Provide a discussion that addresses these questions.
c) How does your firm utilize the data that it collects? And what decisions are made based on this data, and how does the data influence the outcomes of decisions? Provide a discussion that addresses these questions.
d) Does your firm have data or statistics that it publicly reveals, perhaps in a report, in data that has to be submitted to another agency, in marketing, etc. If so, explain fully and discuss the motivation for revealing/publishing data. If the answer is NO, what kinds of information could be publicly revealed, and what might be a reason to do so? Provide a discussion that addresses these questions.
e) How important is data accuracy in the scenario you describe above? Are there any controls in place to ensure data accuracy? If NOT, what ideas do you have that might ensure/improve data accuracy? Provide a discussion that addresses these questions.
f) Envision an interesting research question that could be implemented in your firm using experimental or non-experimental research. Be clear which you are employing. And, fully identify and explain your dependent and independent variables.
