Calculate the acceleration of the vessel in that instant.
If i have a vessel that is being pushed forward with the force of its propulsion systems and all of a sudden the propulsion stops , how can i calculate the acceleration of the vessel in that instant. I am aware that there is no more power to the vessel so equations like F=MA ; P=FV will only work if somehow i can relate de force of friction with the velocity of the vessel, but i cant get my head around this one.
Information i am given , P=16MW , m=1600 T , V = 8knt
