Primary Care NP Role vs. APN Roles
Compare the primary care NP role with other APN roles. What are the similarities among the roles, what are the differences, and how would you communicate the role to a healthcare provider and a consumer?

Using the Webster libraryLinks to an external site. to access the MMY (Mental Measurements Yearly) or TIP (Tests in Print) or other source identify and review a recent (within the past 5 years) selection instrument that you might use in your organization to help select the right individual for a position that you may have open in the organization.
- Provide your thoughts on the validity and reliability of the instrument.
- Discuss any challenges that you see to its use.

Your initial discussion post, supported by at least two scholarly studies (not the one provided), of at least 150 words is due no later than Wednesday night at 11:59 p.m. (CT). The paper includes the definitions of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention. Two examples for each type of prevention specific to the aggregate described in the aggregate paper are included. Write an essay to answer the question below. You essay should be a minimum of 450 words and thought through. Use additional primary source information other than the links above. Cite your sources at the end of the essay.
Cynthia Ann Parker was kidnapped by Natives when she was a child. After many years of living with a tribe she considered herself to be part of their family. Eventually Cynthia Ann Parker was found and taken back to society. During her return she felt as if she had been kidnapped again. How could this be an accurate conception?
Your care plan should be formatted as a Microsoft Word document. Follow the current APA edition style. Your paper should be no longer than 3-4 pages excluding the title and the references and in 12pt font.
Download the SOAP template to help you design a holistic patient care plan. Utilize the SOAP guidelines to assist you in creating your SOAP note and building your plan of care. You are expected to develop a comprehensive SOAP note based on the given assessment, diagnosis, and advanced nursing interventions. Reflect on what you have learned about care plans through independent research and peer discussions and incorporate the knowledge that you have gained into your patient’s care plan. If the information is not in the provided scenario please consider it normal for SOAP note purposes, if it is abnormal please utilize what you know about the disease process and write what you would expect in the subjective and objective areas of your note.
Select a health behavior and discuss how social, economic, and political factors interact and influence this behavior. Describe in detail the health behavior and possible health outcomes without an intervention. Identify the populations impacted the most by this health behavior. Select and discuss one intervention used to reduce or prevent the health behavior selected.
This essay should be no less than 500 words and no more than 1000. Citations must include no less than 3 peer reviewed journals. Citations do not count in the final word count.
- All typed work should be in an AMA/APA formatted paper using Arial [font size 10] or Times New Roman [font size 12].
- Please use the appropriate citation of all external content and source per AMA/APA requirements. References should be less than 7 years old and 3 peer-reviewed journal articles or reputable public health websites (.gov or .edu) to support your analysis. Sources like newspapers, Wikipedia, dictionaries, etc. are unacceptable for use as a reference.
- Please submit the assignments in the designated Drop Box in BLACKBOARD. NO other submission method is acceptable.
- Use the Inquiry and Analysis Value Rubric attached.
- 2 points will be deducted from assignment for every day that it is late.
