5 SlidesTopic : Increasing the quality of leadership Purpose statementEffective strategiesleadership theoriesStrategic thinking, decision making, and innovation have issues that currently face, the most outstanding issue is increasing the quality of leadership and development. Increasing the quality of leadership and management entails expanding the ability of employees or creating opportunities for employees to have leadership roles. This includes improving skills, abilities, and confidence of employees in an organization. According to Bolden,  (2005) leadership development consist of several programs that are available to employees and organizations. The programs vary in relation to the style of training the complexity and the cost.Today, strategic thinking, decision making and innovation in organizations face increasing the quality of leadership and development as a major issue since they assume it to be costly. It is evident that most organization do not invest in training and developing employees since the management is not ready to spend an extra cost on training them. It is also assumed that a lot of time is spent on training rather than equating that time to working and be productive. This kind of mentality from seniors in an organization has impacted negatively on the strategic thinking, decision making and innovations in organizations since the employees do not feel to be part of the decision making the process of the organization thus experiencing low performance.According to Fielden, Davidson,& Sutherland,  (2009). Coaching and training are the two major ways of leadership development. Coaching and mentoring has its own advantages to an organization. These include the retention of employees. When employees are coached and mentored they are able to feel a sense of commitment and belonging to the organization. Through coaching and mentoring employees are able to be efficient of how they handle activities at the workplace. And lastly, Personal development is also an advantage since trainees are able to gain knowledge and be aware of the current trending issues. The success of leadership development is influenced by the efforts put in by the management of the organization in terms of cost, consistency, support and also the ability of the trainee to understand and make use of what they have been trained. Increasing the quality of leadership has its own advantages and disadvantages. According to Bolden,  (2005) most leadership pieces of training don?t necessarily produce leaders because the trainers mainly use theories, concepts, and principles for training but do not encourage practical learning. Leadership can mainly be learned but not taught. It is, therefore, necessary for seniors in an organization to act as examples to their juniors in case they are given leadership roles. The role of a good leader is to ensure the values and purpose of an organization are implemented, develop vision and strategy, and build a workable community. This kind of behavior requires good character, creativity, and compassion. It is therefore important for organizations to consider developing their employees in order to avoid facing the issue of low -quality leadership development.in conclusion, this kind of issue can greatly be avoided if the seniors of an organization are co-operative enough to ensure leadership development amongst the employees.

Knowledge and Justification

Each question should be answered thoroughly and in detail. Each answer should typically be at least one or two full paragraphs (and longer is fine!)Write responses to each of the following questions based on the reading. Answer the questions fully and in detail (supporting your answers with reasons). 1) Explain what it means to have a justified belief, in terms of “reasonable doubt”. What sorts of things can create “reasonable doubt”? 2) Explain and discuss the Forer Effect. What implications does this have for the plausibility of astrology? 3) Explain and discuss faith and intuition. What sorts of things might create doubt about beliefs based on faith or  intuition? Illustrate with examples. The next three questions are about arguments. For each of the arguments below, do the following:A) Formalize the Argument (list it in premise & conclusion form)B) Identify the kind of argument. If it is Deductive, identify the form (modus ponens, modus tollens, denying the antecedent, affirming the consequent, etc). If it it an inductive argument, identify the kind of inductive argument that it is (analogical induction, or hypothetical induction, etc). If it is neither a deductive argument nor an inductive argument, then just leave this blank. C) Identify whether the argument commits an informal fallacy, and explain how the fallacy is committed (if there is no informal fallacy, then just write “no fallacy”)4) It’s not a surprise that Stephen Hawking thinks that there is probably alien life elsewhere in the universe. After all, he is an atheist. And atheists are crazy heathens who have no respect for God or for the fact that life is unique to Earth. So therefore we should ignore his ridiculous ideas.5): We know that brains are capable of producing conscious thoughts and feelings and emotions. Computers are like brains in that they are incredibly complex information processing devices, so it is likely that computers could produce conscious thoughts and feelings and emotions as well.6) It?s obvious which news source is the most balanced and fair news source ? it?s Fox News. You can tell that they?re fair and balanced because they always say that they?re fair and balanced all the time, and since they?re so fair and balanced they wouldn?t lie about something like that. All of your information to answer the questions are in the videos and ereader. The video clip in this lecture (from Penn & Teller’s series on Showtime) contains some adult language – so make sure to watch it without any children or anyone else in the room that you would not want hearing such language.

GCU Community Health Nurses Role Discussion

Explain the role of the community health nurse in partnership with community stakeholders for population health promotion. Explain why it is important to appraise community resources (nonprofit, spiritual/religious, etc.) as part of a community assessment and why these resources are important in population health promotion.Example 1 melena: A community health nurse’s role is to promote, preserve, and protect the health of the public. This is vital in geographic locations where healthcare services are not easily assessable (Green, 2018). Some institutions and organizations that are in partnership with stakeholders to promote health are the Nurse-Family Partnership and American Red Cross, Women, Infants, and Children, or WIC (Silva, 2022). Community health nurses can help the community by providing education to prevent teen pregnancy, obesity, poor nutrition, smoking, sexually transmitted diseases and infections, and substance abuse. They evaluate the delivery of patient care services and wellness projects in each community. They institute health and wellness programs and research to improve healthcare. This can help individuals in the community to maintain healthy lifestyles and lower their risks of illness and hospitalization (NSU, 2021).Green, S. (2018). Community & Public Health: The Future of Health Care. Grand Canyon University. Northeastern State University. (2021). The Nurse?s Role in Community Health. NSU. Silva, C. (2022). The vital role of Community Health Nursing. Herzing University. example 2 alanna : Community health nurses have an important role in partnership with community stakeholders for population health promotion. It is crucial for nurses to understand differences in spiritual beliefs, ethnicity, culture, and socioeconomic conditions, (Green, 2018). This is because they have a role in creating models that can help promote the health of the community. It is important to appraise community resources as part of a community assessment because it not only aids in understanding the importance of them but also what is needed in order to further the agenda of health promotion. It assesses what interventions need to take place that will have the greatest impact. The information that is gathered during these community assessments can be used to assist in the creation of policies and models that will further promote health promotion of the population. The American Public Health Association helps to advocate for the health and the public and the importance of taking action within your community, (APHA, 2022). If these assessments are not done then it is hard to see how effective current practices are and how they can further be improved in a constantly changing industry. P13-13 (liability errors) you are the independent auditor engaged to

P13-13 (Liability Errors)ÿYou are the independent auditor engaged to audit Millay Corporation’s December 31, 2014, financial statements. Millay manufactures household appliances. During the course of your audit, you discovered the following contingent liabilities.

1.Millay began production of a new dishwasher in June 2014 and, by December 31, 2014, sold 120,000 to various retailers for $500 each. Each dishwasher is under a one-year warranty. The company estimates that its warranty expense per dishwasher will amount to $25. At year-end, the company had already paid out $1,000,000 in warranty expenses. Millay’s income statement shows warranty expenses of $1,000,000 for 2014. Millay accounts for warranty costs on the accrual basis.
2.In response to your attorney’s letter, Morgan Sondgeroth, Esq., has informed you that Millay has been cited for dumping toxic waste into the Kishwaukee River. Clean-up costs and fines amount to $2,750,000. Although the case is still being contested, Sondgeroth is certain that Millay will most probably have to pay the fine and clean-up costs. No disclosure of this situation was found in the financial statements.
3.Millay is the defendant in a patent infringement lawsuit by Megan Drabek over Millay’s use of a hydraulic compressor in several of its products. Sondgeroth claims that, if the suit goes against Millay, the loss may be as much as $5,000,000. However, Sondgeroth believes the loss of this suit to be only reasonably possible. Again, no mention of this suit is made in the financial statements.

As presented, these contingencies are not reported in accordance with GAAP, which may create problems in issuing a favorable audit report. You feel the need to note these problems in the work papers.
Instructions
Heading each page with the name of the company, balance sheet date, and a brief description of the problem, write a brief narrative for each of the above issues in the form ofa memorandumÿto be incorporated in the audit work papers. Explain what led to the discovery of each problem, what the problem really is, and what you advised your client to do (along with any appropriate journal entries) in order to bring these contingencies in accordance with GAAP.
