In Week 1, you discussed Web site elements such as the logo, header, text content, and footer. You have also considered the kind of Web site that you would like to create, and you have given some thought to what it will look like.
For this assignment, you will complete the following:
Create a basic Web page.
It is critical that you keep your Web site material organized and easy to use. By having a file structure that is easy to use, you will be able to place material in the appropriate folder and have it available when it is needed. Begin with a folder that will hold the entire Web site. From there, it should branch down to include folders for images or graphics, video files, and sound files.
Your file organization could look like the following:
Although it is not required for this course, it is a very good idea to create a site map and a storyboard. The site map shows how the Web pages link together. Thestoryboard shows how each page is laid out and what goes on the page.
Once you have decided what type of Web site you will create, it is time to start gathering assets. Assets are the items that will be placed on your Web site. Examples of assets are logos, headers, text, images, graphics, animations, sounds, videos, and footers. You can create your own assets, or you can get them from other sources. If you are using assets from someone else, you need to give that person credit for his or her work.

Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) code has a specific structure and syntax that must be followed. If you copy the following code into the text editor, you will create a simple Web site that says Hello when it is run in a browser:

Describe the product/ company that you are going to introduce on a global level and explain why you chose this company/ product. This is not a detailed section. The product or company can be an actual product or something fictitious.
3. Region/Country information/ Research
Conduct research on each of the countries you have chosen with respect to the different aspects you would consider in global marketing, such as tariffs, quotas, infrastructure etc
This section needs to be organized using the 4 factors in assessing global markets. You can use tables in this section to summarize some of the information but the entire section cannot be 1 table. Pleased use headings here so that you cover all 4 factors in assessing global markets for each country that you select.
4. Then using the steps for entering a global market, compare and contrast the 2-3 countries and then discuss how you would select the one country to enter from these 2-3 countries. This needs to be a discussion section where you compare and contrast the information found in section 3.
This section should be the bulk of your paper.
5. Conclusion
In this section, explain why you think that your company/ product would be successful in this region/ country. You need to select one country or none.
You are not required to utilize the main section headings in your paper however you may do so if you wish to. I do recommend it so that you know all sections were covered.

This medium-sized company was formed by combining several smaller companies within the same industry into a single entity. Each of the smaller companies had their own IT system, and some were not so good, usually because the systems were cobbled together from different sources over the years. The new organization intends to avoid that undesirable outcome.
This organization intends to bring all of the disparate systems together into one comprehensive system. The plan is for another team to implement an ERP system such as SAP or PeopleSoft as the core application for managerial control. That part of the transition will be outsourced to another team and is NOT part of your groups charter.
Your team was assembled by selecting individuals from some of those smaller companies described above, so you have never worked together before. Also, the levels of experience and training for the various team members can be quite variable.
Your mission is to develop an overall systems architecture plan from top to bottom for the new organization. This will involve several different platforms from the data center to the smartphone level including some levels in between.
