Please use a cover page, and have a bibliography.
For your term paper, as a topic, you should choose either a plant/substance (it is acceptable to do your term paper on a synthetic substance not of biological origin) and focus on that, or on a more general topic, such as “the use of hallucinogens in religious movements,” “hallucinogens and the origins of religion,” “drug interdiction policy and hallucinogens,” “the use of psychotropics in psychotherapy,” etc., etc. So your term paper could be on ayahuasca/DMT, bufo toads/bufotenine, a synthetic (MDMA, katamine, etc.), or on a general topic covering hallucinogens. Do not cite 3 Wikipedia articles (only) unless you want to fail. Use a consistent referencing format that is clear, style is up to you. It will be evaluated for both content (40 pts) and mechanics (10 pts).

Explain how these entities contribute to the company’s revenue or market share.
You got the job! You have been appointed the director of strategic planning for the Fortune Global 500 company you selected in Module One. They were impressed with your detailed background research about the company’s vision and goals.
The vice president of strategy and operations (VP) has confided to you that strategic planning has been a challenge for the company over the past year, specifically crafting new strategies and aligning them to the company’s mission and goals. You have now been tasked with creating a new strategic planning proposal to help the company explore at least one new growth opportunity to increase its revenue or market share in the industry.
To create your proposal, you first need to analyze the company’s business environment and identify possible opportunities for growth. In this assignment, you will analyze your company’s internal business environment and explain its influence on revenue or market share.
Prompt
Perform an internal environment analysis of your company to understand the company’s current business environment and future goals. Use resources such as the company website, which will have pertinent information including its most recent sustainability report, and other relevant sources to help complete this presentation. You can also use the resources in the MBA Library Research Guide to conduct further research about your company.
Create a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation to show the results of your analysis. Use both onscreen text and speaker notes to convey your information effectively. For example, you can use brief bulleted lists summarizing the highlights of your analysis on the slide, and include more detailed explanations where needed in your speaker notes.
Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:
Overview (slide 1): Provide a brief overview of the company’s products, services, and customer base.
Existing Entities (slides 2–3): Identify at least two existing partnerships, mergers, or acquisitions. Explain how these entities contribute to the company’s revenue or market share.
Five-Year Goals (slide 4): Speculate on what the company wants to achieve in the next five years by considering its mission statement, its values and goals, and relevant sections of its sustainability report.

Why has the United States failed to adequately protect the rail system?
For your final assignment, you will write an analytical research paper addressing a major issue of your choosing from among the topics covered in this course. (IMMIGRATION AND BORDER SECURITY). As a research paper, you will have to answer a significant puzzle related to a course topic.
For this assignment, you are essentially doing the first three elements of your research paper outlined below.
Title Page of the Paper: The title of your paper should be brief but should adequately inform the reader of your general topic and the specific focus of your research. Keywords relating to parameters, population, and other specifics are useful. The Title Page must include the title, name, course name and number, date, and Professor’s Name.
Introduction, Research Question, and Hypothesis: This section shall provide an overview of the topic that you are writing about, a concise synopsis of the issues, and why the topic presents a “puzzle” that prompts your research questions, which you will include. This section will be 1-2 pages. End your introduction with your research question and hypothesis. If you struggle with writing hypotheses, then use the “If……then….” formula. Example, “If the United States fails to address vulnerabilities in the rail system then the frequency of security incidents will increase.” A corresponding research question could be: Why has the United States failed to adequately protect the rail system?
Review of the Literature: All research projects include a literature review to set out for the reader what knowledge exists on the subject under study and helps the researcher develop the research strategy to use in the study. A good literature review is a thoughtful study of what has been written, a summary of the arguments that exist (whether you agree with them or not), arranged thematically. At the end of the summary, there should still be gaps in the literature that you intend to fill with your research. It is written in narrative format and can be from 4-6 pages depending on the scope and length of the paper.
As a literature review, this section should identify the common themes and theories that the prior research identified. In this section, what you do is look at the conclusions of prior research and identify what the common themes are you see in those conclusions. You then identify those themes. The APUS online library has some helpful information on writing a literature review. Using the example above, you should approach your literature review from the perspective of “what have other researchers found on the failure of the U.S. to protect the rail systems?” You are telling your reader about the literature on your topic and not presenting any results of your research.
Technical Requirements
Your paper must be at a minimum of 5-9 pages (the Title and Reference pages do not count towards the minimum limit).
Scholarly and credible references should be used. A good rule of thumb is at least 2 scholarly sources per page of content. Scholarly sources include peer reviewed articles, government publications, and academic texts.
Type in Times New Roman, 12 point and double space.
Students will follow the current APA Style as the sole citation and reference style used in written work submitted as part of coursework.
Points will be deducted for the use of Wikipedia or encyclopedic type sources. It is highly advised to utilize books, peer-reviewed journals, articles, archived documents, etc.
All submissions will be graded using the assignment rubric.
Discuss who the author is and evaluate their credibility. What institutions is the author affiliated with?
For MWA 4, you will create an annotated bibliography based on your research surrounding a particular topic.
- Choose a topic.
You may continue researching the mental health topic you chose for MWA 3 and build on the research you have already done for that topic. This means you may also reuse sources from MWA 3, although you will still need to annotate these sources like any other.
You may also choose a problem, issue, or topic related to your major or academic course of study.
For example, if you are considering nursing, you may want to gather sources that address a problem or issue in nursing, such as the issue of burnout for nurses due to overwork and poor working conditions.
If you study Sports Management or Exercise Science, you might use as topics sports gambling or the long-term effects of concussions and other injuries for athletes. - Conduct research and gather 5 sources related to your topic.
At least 3 of your sources should be scholarly/academic sources. The other 2 sources are up to you, although you should select sources based on credibility, relevance, and usefulness to your research. Make use of the MTC library databases, Google Scholar, and other search engines. - Create your Annotated Bibliography. Include 5 citations and annotations.
Each source should be properly cited using MLA citation.
Following each citation, write an annotation. Each annotation should at least 150-250 words. Your annotation should:
Summarize the main claims of the article.
Discuss who the author is and evaluate their credibility. What institutions is the author affiliated with? What is their educational background? Is their education relevant to the topic they discuss? See the PowerPoint “Conducting Academic Research” to review these concepts.
The significance of this source in context of other research addressing the same topic. How is this source unique in how it presents its information? Does it offer anything new or something that your other sources do not?

Identify all three ehr software options you have selected for consideration.
The purpose of this assignment is to compare electronic health record (EHR) software based on the needs of a health care organization. Though not all health care facilities are required to use EHRs to maintain and organize patient files, many medical offices and health practices are becoming increasingly digital to keep up with technology and evolving patient/customer needs.
Assume that you are a health care administrator who oversees a small conglomerate of local clinics. After the recent acquisition of a physical therapy clinic, it was brought to the attention of key stakeholders that the clinics were all operating with different electronic health records software, which was affecting interoperability between clinics. In an effort to streamline communication and improve efficiency, the CEO has asked you to look up some options for a new EHR software to implement across all of your health network’s clinics.
Research the different types of electronic health records software on the market and choose the top three that would prove most beneficial to your health network. In a 6-12 slide PowerPoint presentation complete with robust speaker notes, present your findings to the CEO and other key stakeholders.
Identify all three EHR software options you have selected for consideration, and include the following in your presentation:
- System requirements and compatible interfaces for each
- The cost of implementation
- Timeline for integration and user training
- Privacy and security options, including patient accessibility to records
- Capabilities of what each software system will enable clinics to do that they were previously unable to accomplish
- How each system would facilitate efficient communication and increase interoperability between clinics
- Pros and cons of each software system in relation to the other options you have selected
- Recommendation for which option you believe the network should adopt and why
Cite all sources used and include them on a reference slide, not included in the slide length requirement.
