This Preschool Video Summary Assignment will allow you to either view four videos of preschool lessons, or if you work in an early childhood education setting, you may observe another preschool teacher. These observations will facilitate a better understanding of the instructional components of early childhood education.

Instructions

· Choose one of the two options below for the observation component of this Preschool Video Summary Assignment:

· Choose four video lessons taught to a preschool age group. The total viewing time of the four videos together should be at least one hour. Acceptable sources of videos include YouTube or other video sources.

· If you are a preschool teacher, observe another preschool teacher in your place of work. Observe the instruction of four separate lessons, totaling about one hour.

· Based on the lessons observed, complete all of the following items:

  1. Write an essay that covers the following items for each lesson observed:

a. In the first paragraph, provide a clear and concise opening, describing the early childhood center.
