How is the global expansion of social media likely to affect how people pursue social change?
Consider what you have learned about collective behavior, social movements, and social change this week. How is the global expansion of social media likely to affect how people pursue social change? How has it done so already? Use specific examples from the media (including a link to information about a recent social movement) as you analyze social movements, social change, technology, and the media. A full citation/reference is not required for the link.
Consider who benefits the most when policy is developed and in the context of policy implementation.
Discussion: Politics and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act
Regardless of political affiliation, individuals often grow concerned when considering perceived competing interests of government and their impact on topics of interest to them. The realm of healthcare is no different. Some people feel that local, state, and federal policies and legislation can be either helped or hindered by interests other than the benefit to society.
Consider for example that the number one job of a legislator is to be reelected. Cost can be measured in votes as well as dollars. Thus, it is important to consider the legislator’s perspective on either promoting or not promoting a certain initiative in the political landscape.
To Prepare:
- Review the Resources and reflect on efforts to repeal/replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
- Consider who benefits the most when policy is developed and in the context of policy implementation.
By Day 3 of Week 3
Post an explanation for how you think the cost-benefit analysis in terms of legislators being reelected affected efforts to repeal/replace the ACA. Then, explain how analyses of the voters views may affect decisions by legislative leaders in recommending or positioning national policies (e.g., Congress’ decisions impacting Medicare or Medicaid). Remember, the number one job of a legislator is to be re-elected. Please check your discussion grading rubric to ensure your responses meet the criteria.

Discuss how (or what) the minor interpretation of the definition of a relation and a table might impact effective relational database designs.
A relation is a table structure definition (a set of column definitions) along with the data appearing in that structure. The structure definition is the heading and the data appearing in it is the body, a set of rows.
- Give a definitiion for a relation – as originally described by E.F. Codd (1970). Also provide a definition of a table as used in relational database systems.
- Discuss the difference(s) between a relation and a table. Give an example in a database structure where a table exists, but NOT a relation.
- Discuss how (or what) the minor interpretation of the definition of a relation and a table might impact effective relational database designs.

discuss what other groups, individuals, and organizations (possibly including state and local government) should be doing within society to address the policy issues
For this Discussion, interact in a free-flowing discussion of the biblical and constitutional parameters for the particular policy focus being discussed this module. In other words, you must discuss the “May” portion of the “May-Can-Should” approach to policy analysis and implementation. Remember to provide thoughts on what government should or should not do from a biblical and constitutional perspective. Also discuss what other groups, individuals, and organizations (possibly including state and local government) should be doing within society to address the policy issues
OVERVIEW
The purpose of the Discussion is to begin to analyze and formulate the “May” of governmental
authority to enact policy from a Biblical worldview and Constitutional foundations.
INSTRUCTIONS
For this Discussion, you will interact in a free-flowing discussion of the biblical and constitutional parameters for the policy focus of federal social justice policy. The thread should
be short and succinct (3-5 sentences at most per topic) and should encourage greater interaction
with your classmates. Thus, you are to post according to the following guidelines:
Biblical: One separate paragraph (3-5 sentences) applying the Biblical principles (section
one of the Synthesis Paper Assignment) such as natural law, inalienable rights, sphere
sovereignty/covenant, the Sin/Crime distinction and the institutional separation of Church
and State to a specific policy. Please remember that simply citing scripture does not
constitute a Biblical worldview analysis. You must apply the Biblical principles as
discussed in the course.
Constitutional: One separate paragraph (3-5 sentences) referencing the enumerated
powers, Articles and Amendments from the Constitution which are relevant to the
assigned policy area. NOTE: Avoid the use of the General Welfare Clause as a
justification for the legislation unless you can definitively demonstrate that the entire U.S.
population will benefit from the legislation, or provide significant Supreme Court rulings
to support the use of the clause.
There must be two separate paragraphs. Both paragraphs must focus on the general
policy area for the assigned module. For instance, when the course module focuses on
criminal justice, the Biblical post must focus on what the Bible says about what
government may or may not do in fighting crime. Likewise, the Constitutional post must
focus on what the Constitution says about what government may or may not do in
fighting crime. Specific examples should be used and cited.
You must use the following sources:
1. the Bible,
2. relevant presentations and articles from Modules/Weeks 1–2 which focus on biblical and
constitutional ideas, including the “Biblical Principles of Government” article,
3. the required reading from the assigned module/week, and
4. any additional relevant sources that you would like to use.

Discuss from a critical point of view the advantages and disadvantages of this model with respect to the traditional model.
Amazon has opened its first store in Seattle 2018 : It’s called Amazon Go and the unique aspect is that once you place items in your cart or bag, you don’t need to stop at the register. No, it’s not some sort of charitable supermarket, but rather a new type of store run by artificial intelligence, which recognizes individuals and deducts the amount owed for their purchases directly from their account credit. The AI (artificial intelligence) that controls the Amazon Go environment follows each customer, noting each item taken and any that may be put back, so no errors are made and there are no charges for products not brought home. With an always-updated list, the assistant keeps track of the customer until they exit the store, deducting the total amount from their account.
This new model is generating a controversial discussion about the current and future models of Retail Management and Merchandising. To explore it in detail, discuss the following questions from a critical point of view using the theoretical support used in class and official sources.
1-Explains the impact that the use of these new technologies generates in the development and implementation of the Amazon Go Merchandising Plan. Discuss from a critical point of view the advantages and disadvantages of this model with respect to the traditional model. (40 points)
2-The AI and a modern electronic point of sale system have been installed in Amazon Go stores. What are the key benefits to Amazon as a retailer of installing AI and modern electronic point-of-sale systems and linking them up to stock control, management, re-ordering and promotion activity? (40 points)
4-Imagin that Amazon Go include to open a discount shoes section store because it can buy a shipment of men’s shoes at $10 each. You know that Amazon Go price policy wants a 30 percent markup at retail. What retail price should the new discount store charge to achieve this markup? (20 points)

What are the potential side effects of a particular drug?
Special Considerations Related to Prescribing for Children and Adolescents
Psychotropic drugs are commonly used for children and adolescents to treat mental health disorders, yet many of these drugs are not FDA approved for use in these populations. Thus, their use is considered “off-label,” and it is often up to the best judgment of the prescribing clinician. As a PMHNP, you will need to apply the best available information and research on pharmacological treatments for children in order to safely and effectively treat child and adolescent patients. What psychotherapeutic approach might be indicated as an initial treatment? What are the potential side effects of a particular drug?
For this Assignment, you consider these questions and others as you explore FDA-approved (“on label”) pharmacological treatments, non-FDA-approved (“off-label”) pharmacological treatments, and nonpharmacological treatments for disorders in children and adolescents.
To Prepare
· Research Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder in children and adolescents
for this Assignment.
· Use the Walden library to research evidence-based treatments for your assigned disorder in children and adolescents. You will need to recommend one FDA-approved drug, one off-label drug, and one nonpharmacological intervention for treating this disorder in children and adolescents.
The Assignment (3 pages)
· Recommend one FDA-approved drug, one off-label drug, and one nonpharmacological intervention for treating -Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder in children and adolescents.
· Explain the risk assessment you would use to inform your treatment decision making. What are the risks and benefits of the FDA-approved medicine? What are the risks and benefits of the off-label drug?
· Explain whether clinical practice guidelines exist for this disorder and, if so, use them to justify your recommendations. If not, explain what information you would need to take into consideration.
· Support your reasoning with at least three scholarly resources, one each on the FDA-approved drug, the off-label, and a non-medication intervention for the disorder. Attach the PDFs of your sources.
Evaluate similarities and differences between music in the Classical era and rock/pop music.
Choose an excerpt from two concerts, one of a pop or rock concert of your choice and one of a performance of music from the Classical Era (1750-1800 AD) chosen from the list below. Watch approximately 10 minutes of each concert. (Please note: The Rock or pop concert you choose should be one you watch while this section of the course is in session, rather than a performance you watched or attended prior to the class.)
After viewing the concert excerpts, construct a comparison of these two concerts and address the following:
1. Explain why you did or did not enjoy the concerts.
2. Evaluate similarities and differences between music in the Classical era and rock/pop music. Be sure to reference specific musical attributes of the concerts, and use musical terminology and information from the course materials to express your ideas.
3. Discuss the types of people who attended concerts in the Classical era and those who attend rock or pop concerts today, and why people attended concerts in the Classical era versus today. (Be certain to use specific information from scholarly sources to support your points about concerts during the Classical era.)
4. Analyze how new technologies, such as digital media and the internet, change the ways music is experienced.
