In this week’s materials, we’re exploring key concepts associated with disability and disability rights. Something you may have noticed as we have examined different kinds of diversity in this course is that in all these categories, there is an assumption about which state is “normal.” Last week, we saw that many white people don’t necessarily see themselves as having a race, because white is the “normal” category. Because of this, the experiences of Black, Latinx, Asian, Native American, and other non-white people can be invisible. In a similar way, our culture views non-disabled people as normal and may make the experiences of disabled people invisible. I encourage you to consider this idea as you work through the material this week.
Using at least 2 of the required resources this week, please answer the following questions:
· In one of the week’s readings, Davis (2015) argues that disability is often left out of discussions of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Why do you think this might be?
· What does the term “TAB” (temporarily able-bodied) mean in the context of disability studies? What does this term add to your understanding of disability?
· How might the concepts of intersectionality and privilege relate to the experiences of people with disabilities? Please give at least two examples

How has Moores Law contributed to the prevalence and increased risk associated with cyberattacks over time and into the future?
You may be familiar with Moores Law, which is named for Gordon Moore, a co-founder of Intel. In 1965, in what eventually became known as Moores Law, he speculated that the overall processing power of computer chips would double every two years, essentially indicating that technology would advance at an exponential rate. At the time, this seemed far-fetched, but over the last 50+ years, it has proven to be a fairly accurate prediction. Reflecting on the fast pace at which technology has advanced, and knowing that threats to computer security have been present since their inception, answer the following:How has Moores Law contributed to the prevalence and increased risk associated with cyberattacks over time and into the future?Of the many different types of exploits or computer attacks (as noted in Chapter 3 of the textbook), choose the one that you believe poses the greatest risk to an organization and explain why. Can you envision another type of risk becoming more serious as technology continues to advance? If so, which one?

What new technologies have emerged – and how have they been used?
What are the main market demands (e.g. price, quality, design, customization, speed ofresponse, etc.) and how has technology affected the ability of firms to offer these?
If a new entrant came into the industry what would he/she have to offer to become a marketleader – and how might technology help them do so?
