Guideline
(Kindly refer the group report, presentations and all the attached documents) Introduction: at the starting point, you need to mention the background that would be
linked to the aim of the project and provide some overall insights about the aim and
organisational context that will help the reader to get the full picture of the subject and
the project. Then introduce the reader to the overall structure of the report ? about 500
words
The main body: in this part you need to divide it into different parts and focus on the
theoretical framework that you used in the Part one: the group report (Attached in documents) You need to criticise the theory and defend the use of such theory in the project. Advantages and
disadvantages are quite important (about 1650 words)
In our Boviaid group project we didnt use any theoretical framework but in Individual report we have to mention about a theoretical framework which we could have used in our group project and give out its advantages and disadvantages.
Part 2: Reflective statement – you need to tell the reader, what did you gain from this
route (group consultancy project)? What are the evidences that you can provide (use the appendices here)? You should reflect on the principles of ethics, sustainability and responsibility that are relevant to your project. Specifically, you should show evidence of evaluating, comparing and
contrasting relevant principles and proposing solutions. You should also reflect and
discuss how the principles of ethics, sustainability and responsibility inform your
professional practice when carrying out this project.?( about 700 words)
Questions to be answered in reflective statement.
1.After completing the group task, what is your perception of leadership?
2. What leadership skills you gained from this module as an international student?
3. Explain the transferability of the leadership skills to your home country and your personal development?
4. How did this route influence your perception of leadership?
5. What do you need to include in this module to improve your leadership skills?
– Conclusion: about 150 words to summarise the overall report at the end.
– List of references: you need at least 30 academic sources in APA 7th referencing format.
– Appendices: use as appropriate. Make sure you refer to these appendices in your text.
-You need to add the timeframe of your work in this part at the end
Describe in detail (costs/times/modes of transportation/companies used/etc.) on how you would get from your home to the Princeville Resort in Kauai, Hawaii.
In APA Format using 600+ words, describe in FULL detail (costs/times/modes of
transportation/companies used/etc.) on how you would get from your home to the Princeville Resort
in Kauai, Hawaii.
Although the topic/project may seem simple, once you start to research all of the alternatives (prices,
times, locations of stops/transfers, modes of transportation, etc.) the decision process might be
overwhelming. The trade-offs of cost alone is interesting! Is Southwest Airlines cheaper than
American Airlines? Which day is least expensive? What time is cheapest? Will you choose numerous
stops/layovers versus direct flights? Uber, taxi, or park at the airport? There are so many options; and
what you choose, hopefully is best for you [for this trip, but maybe not your next vacation].
Now, in your head, not as part of the graded paper
imagine if your organization had to send
hundreds of packages/people all over the world, EVERYDAY! Choosing the best delivery method(s),
to provide the best customer service, is something that organizations have-to master to become and
stay successful!

El Matadero
The second section of this course deals with Romantisism in Latin America. It goes from 1810 to 1860 aproximately. The first reading is The Slaughter House (El Matadero), which was written two century ago by the Argentine poet Esteban Echeverria (1809-1851), is included today among the outstanding classics of Latin American literature. It is one of the very earliest works of prose fiction written in America by an American and dealing with American characters and background. A disciple of Byron who resided in Europe during a period of revolutionary upheavals and literary insurgence, Echeverria was a romantic poet and a liberal inspired by the new ideals of democracy. Any form of tyranny enraged him. That is why he hated the Dictator Rosas and his fhenchmen, the Federalists.
The Slaughter House is a genre painting reminiscent of Hogarth and Breughel in its grotesque realism and caustic details. But, above all, it is a virulent political diatribe against the Federalists and their Fuhrer Rosas, and, by indirection, a defense of the Unitarians, who championed the democratic tradition to which Echeverria was devoted body and soul.
Even if one overlooks its political and propaganda content, one may still consider The Slaughter House of great significance: it provides a picture, unsavory though it often is, of Buenos Aires in 1830, and it utilizes in its naive style a terse, colorful idiom peculiarly Argentine. But what is perhaps most remarkable is Echeverrias strange juxtaposition of realism and surrealism, which makes the comparison to Breughel so striking. By way of illustration: into the filth and mire of the slaughter house, so truthfully depicted in the realistic tradition of the Spanish picaresque, suddenly falls the severed head of a child (surrealist surprise) while its trunk propped on a forked pole of the corral spouts blood from innumerable jets. Even the denouement-the undaunted Unitarian congested with anger, bursting like a ripe fruit has much of surrealism in it. In Echeverria, as in Kafka, unreality blossoms from the most mediocre, everyday reality.

Alliance Supermarket and Point-of-Sale (POS) Systems
Read the Alliance Supermarket case study in Chapter 10 of your text.
Alliance Supermarkets has been using a point-of-sale (POS) system for some time to track its inventory. The system uses a laser scanner to read the universal product code (UPC) on each item at the checkout container. The UPC is a number that uniquely identifies the product on which it appears. Currently, Alliance is using the UPC information to update inventory records for each item. Although the system has greatly improved the companys ability to replenish inventory promptly, the company still has some problems. For example, sudden changes in demand for a particular item can catch the company by surprise as it bases inventory replenishment on historical demand patterns. Further, demand patterns and preferences may vary from one store to another depending on the customers served by each, but the inventory system groups all demand information together and treats each store equally. Finally, the manufacturers that make the products stocked by Alliance Supermarkets are always pressuring Alliance to help them target appropriate customers for special promotions and sales.
The chief information officer (CIO) of Alliance realizes that much more could probably be done with the data collected from its POS system. For example, the company could analyze the relationship between each products sales and weather patterns. It is even possible to analyze an individual customers buying habits and identify instances in which a customer may be persuaded to try a different brand of a certain product.
For this assignment be sure to address the following points:
Study this situation and formulate new and innovative uses of the information from the POS system. Ideally, these ideas should help Alliance better serve its customers by ensuring that adequate quantities of each item are available, that costs are kept low, and that customers are made aware of new products that may interest them.
Describe any information that may help Alliance reduce costs while providing better service.
Propose a new approach that could be used by Alliance by using the purchase information that can be obtained on individual customers.
Assess ethical and privacy considerations of information gathered from the POS system or purchased items.
Your paper should be in paragraph form (avoid the use of bullet points) and supported with the concepts outlined in your text and additional scholarly sources
Submit your three- to four-page paper (not including the title and reference pages). Your paper must be formatted according to APA

Explain what the Dalai Lama is saying here in your own words. Do you agree with it? Why or why not?
A. This week we are thinking about the fact that there are many different religions in the world. Consider this issue: given that there are so many different religions in the world, what kinds of problems and tensions is this responsible for causing in the world today?
B. In our reading from the Dalai Lama he says, I generally believe that every major religion has the potential for giving any human being good advice; there is no question that this is so (666). Explain what the Dalai Lama is saying here in your own words. Do you agree with it? Why or why not?
C. In our reading from Hick this week, he quotes Raymond Firth on the point that religion is universal in human societies (633). And he quotes Wilfred Cantwell Smith on the point that In every human community there exists something that we, as sophisticated observers, may terms religion or a religion (633). Provide at least two concrete examples from either the modern world or from your knowledge of past history that illustrate Firth and Smiths points.
D. This week we talked about 4 different positions: 1) Strict Exclusivism, 2) Soteriological Inclusivism, 3) Religious Pluralism, and 4) Religious Skepticism. Briefly explain each of these positions in your own words. End by stating which one you think is the most plausible, and be sure to make your reasons for favoring that position clear.
