Explain how the separation of the private from public sphere maintains the domination over women.

Write a short essay of 750 words on one of the following questions: e
‘Patriarchal civil society is divided into two spheres, but attention is directed to one sphere only. The story of the social contract is treated as an account of the creation of the public sphere of civil freedom. The other, private, sphere is not seen as politically relevant. Marriage and the marriage contract are, therefore, also deemed politically irrelevant. To ignore the marriage contract is to ignore half the original contract’ (Pateman, The Sexual Contract, p. 3).

Both Carole Pateman and Mary Astell criticise the social contract for excluding women.
Explain how the separation of the private from public sphere maintains the domination over women.

How do people perceive national identity in modern Kazakhstan?

Perceptions of National Identity in Kazakhstan: Research Proposal
Introduction
Kazakhstan is among the states that suffered the most from the Soviet identity, its political, and economic structures. (What do you mean here by suffering from the Soviet identity? How one can suffer from certain identity? Do you mean from Soviet policies? It requires reformulation. What is suffering? Is it the economy, policies or something else? Not clear. Also, such claims must be supported by evidence or source.)
However, three decades later, after the Soviet Union’s fall, Kazakhstan, a country with the most diverse demographic composition, is still experiencing an identity crisis. Research suggests that Kazakhstan started building its national identity after the fall of the Soviet Union. According to Cohen (2008), the Soviet Union collapse accelerated Kazakhstan’s multi-ethnic self-identification process. However, why are the Kazakh rising ethnic identity and religiosity colliding with the civic-informed nationhood in the state three decades later?
(Not logical. First, you start with a nation-building project. Then you write about the acceleration of multi-ethnic ethnicities, and then you try to problematize by saying why they are rising three decades later. What is that you consider being a puzzle or a problem here? Why is Kazakh rising despite what? Why Kazakh identity is not settled despite three decades of nation-building? It needs to be reformulated. What are the problems that are still unresolved? Perhaps there are ethnic problems in Kazakhstan? Is it on the rise? Why is the nation-building project failing and becoming more ethnic than civic? Or maybe, on the contrary, Kazakhstan is the only country where there are minimal ethnic problems. Whatever is the case there, it must be supported by evidence. Please change the puzzle.)
Understanding this puzzle requires a critical evaluation of the current people’s perception of Kazakhstan’s national identity. Further, evaluating how the Kazakh population understands the different components of civic national identity would also provide essential insights into this puzzle. This paper presents a proposal of research to evaluate the perception of national identity in Kazakhstan among the Kazakh population.

Research Questions
The questions that will be addressed in this research include:
How do people perceive national identity in modern Kazakhstan?
What are the components of civic national identity according to the population?
Aims of the Research
As pointed out earlier, Kazakhstan is one of the world’s most diverse states. The country’s transition from the Soviet Union that had suppressed the Kazakh identity has created concerns about the competing societal and national identity frameworks. More specifically, the Kazakh national identity that had been long suppressed is highly conflicting with the Kazakhstan civic identity that was adopted during the transition process. This research seeks to evaluate the Kazakh people perceive their national identity.
This study aims at informing how the citizens of Kazakhstan embrace their national identity. For instance, the study will examine whether Kazakh people are proud to be citizens of this country and the actual factors that influence their association with the Kazakh identity. This information will help in the identification of potential variation in the perception of national identity across different individual groups, such as gender, place of residence, or ethnic affiliations. Further, the research will inform the components of civil national identity that are critical for Kazakh citizenship from the perspective of the common people. This will inform the perception of the Kazakh people about various civil national identity components, such as citizenship, the Kazakh language, patriotism, the rule of law, ethnic diversity, religion, among others.

Analyze if the manager and orienting nurse’s satisfaction has increased through data review and evidence-based literature.

Practicum Professional Development Objectives

1. To enhance personal confidence with time management and communication techniques through mentorship, collaboration, and evidence-based literature.

2. Analyze the importance of ethical practice among nurse leaders as defined in evidence-based practice.

3. Compare and contrast nurse leadership roles in for-profit vs. non-for-profit institutions as reviewed in peer-reviewed literature.

Project Objectives

1. Evaluate dissemination techniques to provide per-diem and part-time staff that cannot attend a 2-week on-line orientation program through collaboration and evidence-based literature.

2. Analyze if the manager and orienting nurse’s satisfaction has increased through data review and evidence-based literature.

3. Compare this orientation process data to the prior orientation data to evaluate if the rate to nurse independence has increased as reviewed in peer literature.

4. Evaluate if there is a better retention rate with a centralized orientation program vs. branch specific orientation compared to peer literature.

Determine potential risks of the unwanted release of sensitive information to the public.

Instructions
This week, you will prepare a pamphlet. Serving as a director within the World Health Organization (WHO), create a risk mitigation strategy briefing to communicate the steps you would take to protect sensitive material such as health records, research survey data, and personally identifiable information (PII) from becoming public knowledge. In your pamphlet, be sure to include the following:

Determine potential risks of the unwanted release of sensitive information to the public.
Explain risks associated with inadvertent release of private information on a global scale.
Specify how your mitigation strategy protects agency information.
Dictate the importance of sound policies in public health information systems.
Support your assignment with at least three scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including seminal articles, may be included.

Length: 4-6 pages, not including title and reference pages.

Your assignment should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards where appropriate.

When you combine your interests in personality psychology with your interests in well-being, what are some potential topics you would like to learn more about?

Seligman (2011) described well-being as the psychological construct that involves engaging with life, experiencing meaningful/positive relationships, having a sense of life purpose, feeling positive emotions, and embracing opportunities for experiencing a sense of accomplishment. Explain why your suggested defense is likely to reduce the risk associated with the hazard.

A safety-critical software system for treating cancer patients has two principal components:

A radiation therapy machine that delivers controlled doses of radiation to tumor sites. This machine is controlled by an embedded software system.

A treatment database that includes details of the treatment given to each patient. Treatment requirements are entered in this database and are automatically downloaded to the radiation therapy machine.

Identify three hazards that may arise in this system. For each hazard, suggest a defensive requirement that will reduce the probability that these hazards will result in an accident. Explain why your suggested defense is likely to reduce the risk associated with the hazard.

Briefly describe the agency’s intervention/treatment plan

According to the Council on Social Work Education, Competency 4: Engage In Practice-informed Research and Research-informed Practice:

Social workers understand quantitative and qualitative research methods and their respective roles in advancing a science of social work and in evaluating their practice. Social workers know the principles of logic, scientific inquiry, and culturally informed and ethical approaches to building knowledge. Social workers understand that evidence that informs practice derives from multi-disciplinary sources and multiple ways of knowing. They also understand the processes for translating research findings into effective practice.

Walden’s MSW program expects students in their specialization year to be able to:

Critically evaluate evidence based and “best practice” treatment interventions.
Compose clinical intervention plans that are grounded research-based knowledge
This assignment is intended to help students demonstrate the behavioral components of this competency in their field education.

To Prepare: Review the agency’s intervention/treatment plan used to engage clients. After reviewing the agency’s intervention/treatment plan, consult the literature and conduct extensive research, with the goal of finding best practices that supports or adds to the agency’s current intervention/treatment plan. The purpose of this assignment is to find research that supports or adds to the agency’s current intervention/treatment approach.

Submit a 1-2 page paper in which you:

Briefly describe the agency’s intervention/treatment plan
Briefly discuss best practices about interventions identified in the literature
Briefly discuss how the agency can incorporate those best practices into the current intervention/treatment plan
Provide a brief summary of the similarities and differences between the intervention/treatment plan used at the agency and the suggested practices in the literature

Contrast the pros and cons to having a spokesperson to represent an organization during a crisis or emergency.

Designating a spokesperson for a public health crisis is a critical step in controlling the messaging that goes out to the public and the media. A person’s position should not be the only factor in choosing a spokesperson. Their public communication skills, demeanor, trustworthiness and availability all matter for the critical role of spokesperson. A spokesperson should also have an understanding of scientific and medical complexities, along with best practices for crisis communication. Most importantly, a spokesperson must be able to deliver informative, accurate messages without provoking fright or alarm.

Answer the following questions:

In your own words, why is choosing the right spokesperson important?
Contrast the pros and cons to having a spokesperson to represent an organization during a crisis or emergency.
If you were looking to hire a spokesperson to represent your organization’s infection prevention plan during the COVID-19 pandemic, what characteristics would you be looking for in this individual? Describe your rationale.
Please be sure to validate your opinions and ideas with citations and references in APA format.
