Imagine you are the department head for a local business and your director has asked you to explain in simplistic
terms the core concepts of the selected principle.
• Provide a clear and precise definition and example of the concept
• and how it is used in your systems for the organization where you work.
Your response to this DQ should take the role as a different department head at a different location.
Add to and provide more clarification to another student’s response of a different principle by providing another
example to more clearly explain the concept to your director.

Discuss the ethical principles of autonomy, maleficence, beneficence and justice in relation to this case

ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENTS
This is an assignment on a clinical decision-making report on the scenario written below. The Nurse looking after the patient who presented with this fluid overload below will write a report on the reason why she took the decision to get the patient a pressure-relieving mattress because of his risk of developing pressure ulcer upon doing a Waterlow assessment for the patient. Also, the decision to regularly reposition the patient, call the doctor to reduce the diuretic medication from 40mg to 20mg and change the timing of the medication from daytime to night-time. All these must be backed up with health policies like NMC, NICE guidelines, and other relevant literature.
USE LITERATURE WITHIN 7YEARS (2015-2022)

THE CLINICAL SCENARIO
Anthony (anonymized) is an 89years older adult who presented with a broken hip following an unwitnessed fall at home. He was transferred from ED to the adult assessment unit. His medical history includes Heart failure, non-insulin-dependent diabetes, Hypovolemia, and chronic venous ulcer on the right leg. Upon admission to AAU, Anthony was immobile and incontinent of urine. He has been taking furosemide 40mg per day as prescribed by his physician. During his waterloo assessment under the supervision of my practice assessor, my practice assessor and I discovered that Anthony was at high risk of developing pressure ulcers due to his age, immobility, and urine incontinence. He consented to the treatment plan that involved getting a pressure-relieving mattress, frequent Repositioning, and regular pad changes to minimize the risk of developing pressure ulcers but contributed less to decision-making.
BASED ON THE CLINICAL SCENARIO WRITTEN ABOVE, DISCUSS THE FOLLOWING SUBHEADINGS.

Pathophysiology of PRESSURE ULCER (INCLUDE HOW FUROSEMIDE DIURETIC DRUG AFFECTS THE KIDNEY CAUSING URINE INCONTINENCE AND PRESSURE ULCER) —100words
Pharmacology of FUROSEMIDE (DIURETIC MEDICATION) AND DISCUSS HOW THE FUROSEDIDE MEDICATION CAN BE REDUCED FROM 40MG TO 20MG AND ALSO CHANGE THE TIMING (BACK IT UP WITH CITATION) IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE INCONTINENCE AND PRESSURE ULCER (100 words)
The importance of person-centred care and involving patients in their decisions around the planning and implementation of their care I.E The importance of involving Anthony in his care. (200 words)
Discuss the ethical principles of autonomy, maleficence, beneficence and justice in relation to this case (200 words)
Discuss relevant health policies and literature supporting the use of the pressure-relieving mattress, regular repositioning, adjustment to the medication dose and change in the medication time TO REDUCE PRESSURE ULCERS IN PATIENTS WITH FLUID OVERLOAD (200 words)
Critically discuss and show evidence or literature that support the use of the below-listed decisions in reducing pressure ulcer (200 words).
Pressure relieving-mattress
Regular repositioning

Explanation of why each principle is important to security and how it enables the development of security mechanisms to implement desired security policies

Description
Cybersecurity Principles Reference Guide
Assessment Description
Cybersecurity principles of IT focus on a set of practices intended to keep a corporate infrastructure secure.
These practices include, but are not limited to, system, data, internal, external, and physical security. The
principles are designed to prevent unauthorized access or alterations of a corporate environment. By
understanding how cybersecurity principles are defined, they can be used to develop a comprehensive,
corporate-specific, security policy.
Assignment:
For each of the principles listed, include the following:
• Definition (1-2 sentences written in your own words)
• Explanation of why each principle is important to security and how it enables the development of security
mechanisms to implement desired security policies

  1. Separation (of domains/duties)
  2. Isolation
  3. Encapsulation
  4. Modularity
  5. Simplicity of design (economy of mechanism)
  6. Minimization of implementation (least common mechanism)
  7. Open design
  8. Complete mediation
  9. Least privilege
  10. Fail-safe defaults/Fail secure
  11. Least astonishment (psychological acceptability)
  12. Minimize trust surface (reluctance to trust)
  13. Usability
  14. Trust relationships
***Please provide a definition and explanation for each of the 14 principles

You are required to write, in the form of an essay, a 5,000 word critical literature review based
on a synthesis of business practice and academic theory on an individual topic of your choice.
Your essay should include:
 An appropriate title
 An abstract (maximum 300 words) and a set of related keywords.
 An introduction justifying the contemporary nature (importance) of the topic selected.
 A coherent and sectionalized structure covering the chosen topic (and title) and associated
sub-themes.
 A summary/conclusion section including linkages between business practice and academic
theory.
 A reference list and associate application using the APA referencing convention

Describe which security principles you would use to immediately correct the issue. Explain your reasoning in detail.

Description
Last night one of your security technicians discovered a massive spike in the amount of data leaving your
corporate network. After careful examination, it was discovered that three systems were sending data to an
unrecognized IP address in China.
Describe which security principles you would use to immediately correct the issue. Explain your reasoning in
detail.

Critically discuss the advantages and limitations of the Planning model you selected in comparison to other models, using peer-reviewed literature.

Guidance (suggested word count, to give an indication of relative importance)

Introduction (100 words)
Specify your target topic, group / community, and setting
Briefly outline what the report will do – a sentence or two on each subsection.

Background (400 words)
Define the health topic, using a reference. Describe the epidemiology and current prevalence in your target group and target setting (place, area, country) using reliable surveillance and / or peer-reviewed data. Explain its evidence-based determinants for your target group (consider doing this within the Rainbow mode or other social determinants of health model).

A figure might be useful here, mapping the determinants of your health topic for your group in their setting, mapped to a recognised model.

Explain the evidence-based harms of the problem on your target group, to justify why an intervention is needed.

Explain what health promotion is (aims, perspectives, strategies), and why it is a good fit to your topic. Identify the most relevant WHO Charter for your topic.

A figure might be useful here, showing the action areas of the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion

Critically discuss the needs assessment of your choice for your target group and setting. Ensure you use peer-reviewed evidence and / or surveillance data to support this.

Planning model (700 words)
Explain what planning models are and why they are suitable to your topic.
Identify, justify, and explain the planning model you will use

A figure may be useful here, to illustrate the phase-by-phase / step-by-step process from the target problem to the expected outcomes. e.g. The Precede-Proceed model or a logic model applied to your intervention, to show the process, the impact, and outcome evaluations

Explain what would happen within each phase of the planning model. How will the needs assessment be done (what type of data will you collect, and how e.g which valid and reliable measures or psychometrics are suitable), what you expect to find based on the relevant peer-reviewed literature and surveillance data, and how the identified factors in the health problem would be prioritised. Include health behaviour / promotion models, as appropriate, to explain the target problem and mechanisms of change in theory. Specify the required resources, and any disparity-based barriers to implementation.

Intervention (700 words)
Based on your planning model assessments, specify the targets for the intervention, and the strategies and processes you will use to reduce the problem. Specify how the health behaviour / promotion model(s) underpin your intervention design, and justify it / them as a good fit for the target problem using critically described peer-reviewed evidence.

Work through each phase of the Planning model, ensuring you include all the components that culminate in a clearly specified evidence-based intervention, and how the process, and short, medium, and long term outcome evaluations would be conducted (specify suitable data collection methods, reliable and valid psychometrics, surveillance data, etc that fit to the needs assessment and target problem)

Critique of the Planning model (1000 words)
Critically discuss the advantages and limitations of the Planning model you selected in comparison to other models, using peer-reviewed literature.
Critically discuss the intervention you proposed, using peer-reviewed literature.
