I work with special needs children/adults and one of the high school students that has down syndrome said he was going to college which made me think if he can do why can’t I.
I think with working with people with disabilities has made me realize that this population needs more help in the medical field and in general. Which makes me want to help the less unfortunate. I also volunteer at the hospital in the oncology department ( I have over 400+ hours)
I don’t know how you can tie that in.

Correlation is the process of establishing a relationship between two or more factors. Correlation is an important concept that can be misused. One misuse is saying that factor A is caused by factor B just because correlation is found. Cause cannot be implied simply from correlation. Find two examples in scholarly articles within the last 10 years that use correlation analysis. One of the articles must use correlation to imply causation correctly and one article should not have justification to imply cause. Explain why cause was appropriate in one article and not in the other. What would be needed for the second article to justify a statement of cause?

How are these procedures coded? What pulmonary tests are included in a complete spirometry, and how are they coded? What must you take into consideration when coding spirometry? [Tips: Spirometry is a common breathing capacity procedure with many variations, coded in the range of 94010-94070. Spirometry can be patient-initiated or performed in a laboratory. In patient-initiated spirometry, codes range from 94014-94016. A spirometry performed before and after the bronchodilator is reported with (Fill in the blanks, 940–). Bronchodilators are coded separately with (Fill in the blanks, 990–). Complete spirometry is coded as (Fill in the blanks, 940–). When coding spirometry, coders need to know whether the procedure is performed in a laboratory or is patient-initiated. Is this a complete procedure? Are there any other pulmonary function tests the physician requests?]
A 35-year-old man has undergone a nephrectomy for removal of a healthy kidney. Why would someone need this surgery, and what else must you know to code the procedure properly? Does the lack of disease to the kidney affect how you code the procedure? [Tips: Think about why would an individual donate a healthy kidney? Are the codes for the procedure affected by the condition of the organ? Was the surgery performed with an open approach (Fill in the blanks, 50300-503–) or a laparoscopic procedure (Fill in the blanks, 50543-505–)?]
