Identify at least 2 barriers to accessing telehealthIn a population.
telehealth.docx
Applying evidence to improve complex systems of health care for diverse populations at a community health facility. You have noticed a trend in which there is a high rate of patients who dont show up for their appointments. Despite making reminder calls the day before, patients are still missing their appointments. During your problem-solving efforts, you begin to investigate more closely and discover that a large portion of the patients lack access to transportation. As a result, many have missed their appointments, which meant they havent updated their physician on important changes in their health, havent been able to get directions on adjusting their medications based on the changes, etc.
You have determined that telehealth would be a good solution to this problem so people who have difficulty coming to the clinic in person can still have access to care.
Review the Grading Rubric and use it to organize your assignment.

Scenario:As a third-year teacher, you have become increasingly involved in community events, such as volunteering in a soup kitchen. Recently, a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Rodriguez, invited you to give a talk to local business leaders about the benefits for everyone when businesses create a culture that helps families work and care well for their children. During your talk, you decide to present a poster that outlines the benefits of family-friendly policies for businesses. Mr. Rodriguez mentions that some of the business owners in town are particularly concerned about parents who lose time at work when their children are home sick. He asks you for your ideas on how businesses can respond in a proactive way to families who need child care assistance. Losing parents as workers because they feel they must choose between their child and their employer is another issue, according to Mr. Rodriguez. Focus Assignment 1. Create a poster, either by hand and then scanned in or by using digital tools. On your poster, highlight three to four key benefits for businesses when they adopt family-friendly policy policies for their employees. Next, list three to four policies businesses can adopt to help parents reduce stress and continue to be productive when their children need to miss school due to illness. Last, list one to two big ideas that would help relieve parental anxieties about feeling the need to choose between their child and their livelihood.

You have been presented an outstanding opportunity to serve as a graduate student intern for the chief executive officer (CEO) of a large HCO. The HCO is an HMO model and originated approximately a century ago as a small rural hospital. Due to the rural setting, the HMO model flourished and, over the years, expanded throughout the region. Today, the HMO has a presence in over eighteen counties and has a number of competing interests from for-profit and not-for-profit HCOs in the region. The board of directors recently approved the acquisition of two regional hospitals. First, the HCO decided to acquire a small rural critical-care-access hospital in a relatively remote county. The interest in acquiring the hospital is to service the existing population and expand the reach of the HMO. Second, the HCO decided to acquire a private full-service hospital in a moderate-size city (population forty-two thousand). The HCO’s move is strategic in nature, preventing the sale of the hospital to its for-profit competitor, and will gain the region its sole emergency department level 2 (two) trauma center with helicopter transport while giving the HCO the ability to service its growing HMO membership in the area. Based on the above information: · Evaluate the various HMO models (staff, group, and network) and identify the model that would probably be best suited for the region. Justify your answer. · Research and comment on the importance and applicability of the various levels of emergency department trauma care. Investigate the exemptions afforded to a critical care rural hospital with respect to Medicare reimbursement and accreditation.

Describe and give examples of how the challenges managers face in todays world are characterized by uncertainty, ambiguity, and sudden changes or threats from the environment.
One of the most difficult components of effective management and leadership is uncertainty. Uncertainty exists everywhere in an organization. Each of the four functions of
management (planning, organizing, leading, and controlling) is affected by uncertainties that lie within an organization and its operations. However, many uncertainties that affect an
organization are external to the organization itself. These cannot always be controlled, but they must be planned for when possible, and adapted to when planning is not possible.
This final week contains a culmination of the concepts introduced throughout the course and is designed to help you think about future challenges involved in management.

Child obesity is a medical condition that affects both teenagers and children, resulting in having too much fat stored within the body and negatively affecting the child. There are many factors that contribute to childhood obesity in America. One of the key things is that only 2% of children in America get healthy foods. That means that 2% or less consume a well-balanced diet while 98% or more children do not receive proper nutrition. Obesity in children contributes to reduced life expectancy, and there is a need to develop better eating habits among the children to rescue cases of the chronic trend. To address this problem, I went to the CINAHL database under the nursing database options. I then conducted a search for “childhood obesity” and “prevention” to obtain evidence-based results for this topic. There were thousands of articles to choose from so I randomly browsed the options until I found one that would pique my interest. The most consistently mentioned intervention for the prevention of childhood obesity was nutrition and exercise. More specifically, the nutritional patterns of the parents were more likely to indicate the risk of childhood obesity. For this problem, my intervention will be a nutritional training program that is family based coupled with structured family exercise. Eating behaviors include poor diets where the child might be eating foods rich in fats and sugar such as fast foods, particularly snacks (Suarez, 2020). Calories should be limited for sugary foods and those rich in fats (Filgueiras et al., 2019). All instructions in attachment PICOT: Does parental nutritional and exercise behavior have a greater effect at preventing childhood obesity when compared to behaviors that kids are exposed to outside of the home?
