This is necessary to better offer programming to increase success for members of society presently at risk for negative outcomes. For this Assignment please answer the following:Part 1Examine a societal issue impacting a family and discuss risks factors for this group as a whole and as individuals.Part 2Using the same societal issue impacting a family in Part 1, please distinguish resiliency between individual family members and the family unit.Part 3Analyze resilience theory by explaining salient points of this theoretical construct.Part 4In Part 1, risks for individual family members and the family unit were applied. In part 2, resiliency was applied to individual family members and the family unit. In part 3, resiliency theory is analyzed. For this final part it is now necessary to differentiate interventions that can be utilized with individual family members, and the entire family with the purpose of increasing resiliency.

Use the demand-supply model to explain market outcomes

Choose a good or service.  It should be something that is currently available for purchase.
Choose the most likely demand shifter (the things that shift demand) for your product and explain why and how the demand curve is most likely to shift if there is a change in that demand shifter.  If the demand curve shifts in the way you are suggesting, what will happen to equilibrium price and quantity?
2) Choose the most likely supply shifter (the things that shift supply) for your product and explain why and how the supply curve is most likely to shift if there is a change in that supply shifter.  If the supply curve shifts in the way you are suggesting what will happen to equilibrium price and quantity?
3) If both the supply and demand curves shift in the way you suggested in #1 & #2 above, what will happen to equilibrium price and quantity?

CU The Emergency Department in Healthcare Units Discussion Reply

Please respond with a paragraph to the following question:For my capstone I choose CLABSI prevention in ICU, providing best and safe care is my top priority. About 41,000 blood stream infections is caused each year by central line contamination (Schech, Hefner, Robbins, Harrison & Garmen, 2015). This type of infection is preventable and should never occur to patients. There are many ways to help prevent CLABSI’s, this includes following sterile central line insertions and applying strict guidelines for line maintenance afterwards. When staff follow and apply EBP the goal of eliminating CLABSI can be met.One mechanism that I plan to develop is a specific central line check list for staff to follow. The checklist will entail what actions to take before, during and after an insertion of a central line. I will also develop educational tools for nurses to use such as the central line bundle kit. Adherence to best practices is important for CLABSI prevention. Its critical that nurses learn to assess, reassess and evaluate the use of and the need for central lines. After starting this capstone project, I realize that change takes time and I also recognize that changing practices can create resistance. However, the goal is to have zero infections to improve patient outcomes.

Nursing Analysis and Interpretation of Data Discussion Response

Respond to the discussion below:The Sampling Theory is the field of statistics that’s involved with the collection, analysis and interpretation of data gathered from random samples of a population under study.  The theory compares relationships between a population by collecting samples.   An example of samping theory would be collecting patients who are diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus from the EMR.  The nurse can analyse the lab values from the glucose tolerance test, blood sugar readings, and how effective the diabetic education was on their compliance.  Another example may be patients who have asthma.  The researcher can evaluate the care plans against interventions to see how well the goals were met.  They can also have some patients treated with different interventions to sample the effectiveness of medications, interventions, and alternate approaches.  Nursing research can use the sampling theory when creating care plans, and evaluating patients to edit the care plan with attainable short and long term goals.  The sampling theory can help estimate an unknown population parameter using statistical measures from samples collected.  It is equally important to test the hypotheses to decide if the researcher will accept or reject the hypothesis.  It will show if any differences were significant.Patton, M.Q.(2010). Social Science Creating My Social Media Accounts Discussion Response

reply to discussion below:Creating my Twitter account was very simple. It reminded me of my Facebook account creation process. I was surprised that like Facebook, Twitter allows you to create a page just using your phone number. I recommend using that method, since it makes things easier. I think this also helps, when you forgot your password. Usually, you must send an email or code to your email can take so long. With the option of using your cell phone, the process of unlocking your account can be much faster. Creating a new account was fast and required minimal information. All I needed was my screen name, phone number, date of birth, and then password. Once you provide all that information, you will be asked some of your likes. This is so you can start following pages based on your interest. The final step is uploading a picture and then you have a new Twitter account.

Does Organizational Ownership Matter Response

Please respond with a paragraph to the following question, add citations and references:  My current workplace is a non-profit organization which provides care to incarcerated patients. In the workplace, the stakeholders include upper management and quality improvement groups. The members of these groups are extremely knowledgeable with current practice in our facilities and new recommended and required policies and procedures via national agencies. They are efficient in identifying problem areas and quickly devise plans to create change. As with any facility, implementing change can and normally is difficult however, an open line of communication is always available. It has been identified that nonprofit organizations often nurses in nonprofit organizations tend to trade off output quality and output quantity (Van Puyvelde, 2015). Our practice requires employees to attend an in house CPR training which already incorporates TB educated and has begun to include information concerning Narcan. As non -medical personal have been trained and educated with the use of Narcan has been successful. It is my belief that integrating Narcan in the community settings via CPR training would have a positive outcome.Van Puyvelde, S., Caers, R., Du Bois, C., & Jegers, M. (2015). Content Analysis Strategy Essay

I’m studying and need help with a Business Law question to help me learn. Introduction:It is important during the research process that researchers, when they use data from agency records, be mindful of potential reliability and validity problems. “Follow the paper trail” and “Expect the expected” are two general principles researchers should use to guide them when using agency records in their research. Following the paper trail and expecting the expected are both actions that involve not only examining the data collected but also how it was collected. Having a good appreciation of how agency records are produced is the best way to avoid reliability and validity problems. Such problems can include clerical errors and changes in data collection procedures, social production of data (such as decisions by criminal justice personnel), agency data that are not designed for research (collected because the law requires it), tracking people rather than patterns (operational level, officials generally more interested in keeping track of individual cases than in examining patterns), and increases in error due to volume (the potential for clerical errors increases as the number of clerical entries increases). Instructions:  For this discussion, select a current criminal justice or crime-related topic in your professional area of interest that has been the focus of news articles.

Business and Finance Discussion

I’m stuck on a Management question and need an explanation. 1. Discuss the types of operational conflicts that occur in an international context because of different attitudes toward time, change, material factors, and individualism. Provide two or three examples.answer in 5 sentences or sothen agree or disagree post below 2-3 sentences 2. Individualism- In America it is a very prideful joy that we get when we gain individual achievement. For the most part our culture is very much about reaching individual goals as opposed to reaching a team goal. Even when working in a team there still seems to be a system where within a team goal there are individual goals that are set to meet. For the Chinese, they have an opposite approach when it comes to their ideas of individualism.
