What is Technical Writing?
Technical writing is a clear and concise form of writing with a specific methodology and purpose. Include specific examples to support your definition. Your evidence/examples should include, but is not limited to, documents, subject fields, websites, etc.

In what ways might important developmental milestones influence social development in childhood?
2-1 Discussion: Development of the Social SelfDiscussion Topic
Our ability to integrate the information we receive from others and interact within social contexts involves skills that are acquired throughout our development. In this module, you are exploring the emergence of social behavior during childhood and how it contributes to the development of the social self.
First, title your post “Development of the Social Self.”
For your initial post, review the videos A Class Divided and Social Development: Crash Course Sociology #13. Then respond to the following:
- Based on the content in “A Class Divided,” are children immune to the attitudes and behaviors of other group members? Explain.
- In what ways might important developmental milestones influence social development in childhood?
- Based on psychological evidence, should antisocial behavior in adulthood be primarily blamed on impaired socialization as a child? If so, what types of interventions might help to remediate these impairments? If not, what do you think leads to adult antisocial behavior?
- Can you teach children tolerance and inclusiveness if they are already indoctrinated by societal intolerance? What if the children in “A Class Divided” had never had a follow-up class explaining brown eyes as an indicator of the smart people?
- How does the concept of development of the social self apply to any of the following programmatic course themes:
- Self-care
- Social justice
- Emotional intelligence
- Career connections
- Ethics

Week 6 Assignment – Feasibility Analysis
Introduction

2. Explain whether the business idea needs to be modified, changed significantly, or abandoned based on your feasibility analysis. (Note: If you abandon the business idea, then you will need to select and analyze a new business that has profit potential.)

Post a brief explanation of two similarities and two differences between each pair of concepts (i.e., social change vs. leadership, social change vs. advocacy, and leadership vs. advocacy). Provide examples to illustrate your points. Then, explain 2–3 conclusions you drew or insights you had as a result of doing the comparison.
Three core concepts are relevant to members of human and social services professions: social change, leadership, and advocacy. Broadly speaking, social change has to do with righting the wrongs in society; leadership means being a guiding force in fostering social and professional change; and advocacy refers to sponsoring or promoting such change. Because these concepts are intrinsic to human services professionals, it is imperative to explore each of these core concepts more deeply, evaluate their meanings, and consider how they are alike and different.
To prepare:
Review this week’s Learning Resources. Think about similarities and differences among the concepts of social change, leadership, and advocacy.

Clear and thorough discussion of value-based care models as introduced by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Includes multiple examples or supporting details per topic.
Scenario
After an evaluation of its current financial status and an assessment of future industry trends, the governing board for Metropolitan Memorial has approved its CEO’s request to expand operations into the rural areas of the state. Many of the rural residents rely upon Medicare and Medicaid for the financing of their healthcare needs. The hospital will offer satellite services including primary care, urgent care, telehealth, and emergent care services. The hospital is embracing the concept of value-based care given the economic make-up of the population within the rural community. Value-based care focuses on advancing the triple aim strategy of providing better care for individuals, improving population health management initiatives, and reducing overall health costs.
INSTRUCTIONS:
The CEO has asked you to create a PowerPoint presentation (using speaker notes for each slide or voiceover narration) outlining the revenue cycle management process. Your presentation should include a discussion on value-based care models as introduced by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), such as ACOs and the Medicare Shared Savings Program. In addition, based on the research you’ve done, you will need to include a recommendation for a possible strategy to strengthen the organization’s financial operations in preparation for the transition to value-based care.
