Managament paper 8 pages | Management homework help
The individual paper is designed for you to utilize the concepts of global marketing and determine an appropriate country for your product/ company to enter. This assignment will be posted in the assignments section of the course. The paper should be around 8 pages not including references but no more than 10. I grade based on content not on length. This paper is due by 04/24
Guidelines for the paper:
Sections:
1. Introduction
This section should clearly state the 2-3 countries you are interested in and the name of the company or product that you are looking to expand to into it. It is best for the product/ company to be fictitious since this will allow you to focus more on the global aspect of the assignment and not get caught up in the product/ company. The U.S. cannot be one of your countries. Please be sure that these are actual countries, not cities or regions such as the U.K.
2. Company/ Product information
Describe the product/ company that you are going to introduce on a global level and explain why you chose this company/ product. This is not a detailed section. The product or company can be an actual product or something fictitious.
3. Region/Country information/ Research
Conduct research on each of the countries you have chosen with respect to the different aspects you would consider in global marketing, such as tariffs, quotas, infrastructure etc
This section needs to be organized using the 4 factors in assessing global markets. You can use tables in this section to summarize some of the information but the entire section cannot be 1 table. Pleased use headings here so that you cover all 4 factors in assessing global markets for each country that you select.
4. Then using the steps for entering a global market, compare and contrast the 2-3 countries and then discuss how you would select the one country to enter from these 2-3 countries. This needs to be a discussion section where you compare and contrast the information found in section 3.
This section should be the bulk of your paper.
5. Conclusion
In this section, explain why you think that your company/ product would be successful in this region/ country. You need to select one country or none.
You are not required to utilize the main section headings in your paper however you may do so if you wish to. I do recommend it so that you know all sections were covered.

Excel Assignment 2
This week you will continue to work with the scenario from last week (although dont worry if you were not able to do the calculations within the spreadsheet). The owner thinks it will be easier to look at sales and profits if charts are used. The owner also wants to identify the products which were not creating as much revenue as the others.
Use your spreadsheet from last week. If you did not calculate the profits in column E within the spreadsheet, fill in that column now in any way that you want (although no two numbers should be the same or widely different, like 1 and 100). The important thing is to have some numbers in that column for monthly profits.
Look at the range of numbers you have for monthly sales of each product. These are the numbers in rows 3 to 5 and in columns B to D. Pick a number somewhere in the middle or slightly lower. For instance, if I have a range of numbers scattered between 10 and 100, I might choose the number 40. Using the conditional formatting feature, highlight in red the sales figures which are less than the number you chose (less than 40, for instance).
Create a bar graph of the monthly sales based on product.
The months should display along with a legend of the three products.
Give the chart a title of Monthly Sales.
Give the y-axis a title of Sales in $.
Create a pie chart of the monthly profit.
Give the chart a title of Monthly Profit.
See if you can get the legend to display the months. (Hint: You can select one column, hold the shift key down, and then select another column in order to select two different columns.)
Create a line chart of monthly sales.
Give the chart a title of Monthly Sales.
Give the y-axis a title of Sales in $.
The legend and months should display if columns and rows are properly selected.
The charts should look something like the ones below. The actual charts, of course, will depend on your spreadsheet numbers.
Save your spreadsheet with the filename LastNameWeek7 and upload it in the assignment area.

Argument or persuasive essay. | English homework help
Deliverable Length: 350-500 words
The word argument usually conjures up images of agitated people disagreeing with each other, often emotionally. In academic writing, the argument or persuasive essay is not about confrontation. Instead, this essay relies on detailed evidence, cool logic, and precise language to persuade readers to accept a viewpoint or to take an action. This ability to make a reasonable, persuasive case for your point of view can be one of the most important skills for your advancement in the workplace.
For this Individual Project, you should either choose one of the topics below or devise one of your own (with your instructors approval) and write a short argument or persuasive essay. As you discovered in your reading, you will assert a position on the topic and then defend that position so well that others might agree with you. Remember, the argument or persuasive essay is not a personal rant. Your goal is to appear unbiased.
One of the ways of achieving a level of objectivity is to consider counterarguments against your position. Therefore, at least one of your paragraphs should include some discussion of a counterargument. For example, if you write in favor of abolishing the death penalty, you might devote some discussion to the loved ones of a murder victim, the need for these survivors to gain closure, or even their demands that the perpetrator meet a similar fate as the loved one taken from them.
You are welcome to rely on the five-paragraph essay structure of English 106. Click here for a sample outline for an argument or persuasive essay.
Topics
Click here for the suggested topics list for the argument or persuasive outline.
Note: You may choose one of the topics provided. If you wish to devise your own topic, please seek your instructors approval of the topic before you begin writing.
As you choose your topic, keep in mind that your goal in English 107 is to create, week-by-week, a college-level research paper. You will submit a final draft of this paper at the end of Week 5. Although you will be allowed to change topics if needed, you should choose a topic this week that you will be comfortable researching and writing about throughout the course. Regardless of the topic that you choose, be sure to complete the following:
Format your essay in APA manuscript style. Watch this video for step-by-step instructions: APA style at AIU.
Include an introduction paragraph (place your thesis statement at or near the end of this paragraph).
Develop at least 3 main points in 3 body paragraphs, and include at least 1 counterargument.
End the essay with a wrap-up or conclusion paragraph.
Checklist
Format the pages of your project in APA manuscript style in the following order:
Note: Do not research this essay or include any citations.
Creating a basic web page
Creating a Basic Web Page
In Week 1, you discussed Web site elements such as the logo, header, text content, and footer. You have also considered the kind of Web site that you would like to create, and you have given some thought to what it will look like.
For this assignment, you will complete the following:
Create a basic Web page.
It is critical that you keep your Web site material organized and easy to use. By having a file structure that is easy to use, you will be able to place material in the appropriate folder and have it available when it is needed. Begin with a folder that will hold the entire Web site. From there, it should branch down to include folders for images or graphics, video files, and sound files.
Your file organization could look like the following:
Although it is not required for this course, it is a very good idea to create a site map and a storyboard. The site map shows how the Web pages link together. Thestoryboard shows how each page is laid out and what goes on the page.
Once you have decided what type of Web site you will create, it is time to start gathering assets. Assets are the items that will be placed on your Web site. Examples of assets are logos, headers, text, images, graphics, animations, sounds, videos, and footers. You can create your own assets, or you can get them from other sources. If you are using assets from someone else, you need to give that person credit for his or her work.
To begin your first Web page, click here to access and download Notepad++. For a Mac platform, click here to download TextWrangler.
Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) code has a specific structure and syntax that must be followed. If you copy the following code into the text editor, you will create a simple Web site that says Hello when it is run in a browser:
!DOCTYPE html
html
head
titleHello/title
/head
body
pHello/p
/body
/html
Customize the text between the p tags and the title tag depending on the type of Web site that you have elected to create. This will be the content of your Web page.
This file will become your home page. Save this file as index.html and submit.

Drug Safety Approach in Pharmacology Pharmacologists are key players in activities related to detection, prevention and in understanding possible drug related problems. A systems pharmacology modelling approach is recommended in ensuring drug safety. The system prevents issues of adverse drug reaction through proper monitoring of drugs as they are dispensed to hospitals and other health facilities (Bohomol, 2014). A pharmacists role in pharmacovigilance goes beyond dispensing drugs to creating an environment that has reduced medication errors. They are responsible for counselling patients of possible medication errors therefore ensuring drug safety and quality care of the patients. A strategy that looks into main causes of medication errors is important when developing a strategic approach in ensuring drug safety in the field of pharmacology. The systems modelling approach comprises of a series of steps that ensure that the patient gets the right medication without compromising their health (Scott, 2013). The first step in ensuring drug safety is by processing the right prescriptions as instructed by the physician. Second step is collecting and integrating patients drug history. Thirdly, the pharmacists monitors patients drug utilization. Lastly, the patients need to be advised on how to conduct issues related to polypharmacism. The suggested approach intends to reduce errors in medication and adverse effects related to improper medications. Advanced nurses are responsible for administering drugs and the model suggests that they will be able to deliver quality care to patients. Reduced incidents of medication errors implies that there is improved health safety and care from the nurses. The probability of giving the wrong medication by the nurse is thereby minimal hence an increased reliability of the nurse from the patients. References Bohomol, E. (2014). Stanford prison experiment reflection q+a
Part A: Go to the following website www.prisonexp.org. Go through the website thoroughly and study the experiment described therein. When you are finished, go to the tab (on the website) labeled Discussion Questions and answer questions 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 12 and 14 as completely as possible. Your responses should total between 1-2 original, non-plagiarized pages, with Times New Roman 12-point font, double-spaced.
Question # 3: What prevented good guards from objecting or countermanding the orders from tough or bad guards?
Question #4: If you were a prisoner, would you have been able to endure the experience? What would you have done differently than those subjects did? If you were imprisoned in a real prison for five years or more, could you take it?
Question #6: What factors would lead prisoners to attribute guard brutality to the guards disposition or character, rather than to the situation?
Question #8: What is identity? Is there a core to your self-identity independent of how others define you? How difficult would it be to remake any given person into someone with a new identity?
Question #9: Do you think that kids from an urban working-class environment would have broken down emotionally in the same way as did our middle-class prisoners? Why? What about women?
Question #12: Was it ethical to do this study? Was it right to trade the suffering experienced by participants for the knowledge gained by the research? (The experimenters did not take this issue lightly, although the Slide Show may sound somewhat matter-of-fact about the events and experiences that occurred).
Question #14: If you were the experimenter in charge, would you have done this study? Would you have terminated it earlier? Would you have conducted a follow-up study?
Part B: Would you follow orders of an authority figure? Watch the following clip and discuss the influence of obedience on our behavior. What factors in this video could have increased the likelihood that the victim and the others involved followed orders? What factors could have reduced the likelihood that all persons involved complied with the authority figure?
