UC Access Control Countermeasure Analysis Annotated Bibliography
This assignment will be one of several throughout the Ph.D. program that we use to help you prepare for the dissertation process. One of the core competencies necessary to succeed in a doctoral program is the ability to identify other research that pertains to your own. This means you’ll have to identify related research, read the papers, and assimilate prior work into your research. An annotated bibliography helps you develop and hone these research skills.Your paper must be in a correct APA format, use correct grammar, and will need to include at least five (5) resources, ALL of which must:1) Be current. Published within the last few years.2) Be peer-reviewed.3) Relate directly to defense in depth in the context of protecting National Infrastructure.Remember that an annotation is not the same as an abstract. Abstracts are descriptive. Your annotations are to be evaluative and critical. Give me enough information for me to decide if I’m interested enough to read the paper, and also how you perceive the paper. Do not go skimpy on these annotations, but DO NOT write too much here. Quality is far more critical than quantity. This exercise is for each of you to demonstrate that you can identify, categorize, and digest multiple research papers.Every resource you choose must be peer-reviewed. That means the paper must have undergone a formal peer review before being published in a journal or presented at a conference. You must ensure that your resources have undergone rigorous reviews. In most cases, you can find out the review process for a conference or journal by visiting the appropriate web site. Do not merely assume that a resource is peer-reviewed – check it out. Here are a few URLs with additional information: (I strongly suggest that you look at these. Really.)

Evaluating inherited disease | Psychology homework help
For this Assignment you will think about your individual health and health risks. What genetic diseases or problems might you face during your lifetime? Predisposition to heart disease, breast cancer, diabetes? You may consider your own health risks or those of other individuals such as a family member or friend. Then, in a paper of 7501,000 words, address the following issues:
What genetic diseases or problems were determined to be potential issues?
Provide an introduction of the disease, outlining the major signs/symptoms of the disorder and the reason why this was selected as a genetic/inherited disease?
Research the mode of inheritance for this disease/trait? Why? If you are not able to find a specific mode of inheritance, provide a hypothesis for the mode of inheritance. Explain your thinking here very thoroughly; this should take up about half of the length of the Assignment.
What other information would help you draw better conclusions about this disease?
What problems did you encounter in gathering information about your familys history or that of the person you interviewed?
If you were to have a child, what could you tell him or her about his/her chances of inheriting the diseases based upon your research about the inheritability of the trait you are researching?
Finally, visit the KU library by clicking on the Library link on the KU Campus homepage. Select the option to perform an advanced search. Find two references that pertain to the disease/trait you selected. Record the methods that you used to discover these sources, and answer the following questions:
Which search term(s) did you use?
Did you use combinations of search terms?
Which methods resulted in the most hits or results?
Did you refine any of your searches? In other words, did you perform an initial search and then further narrow the results?
Also, briefly explain whether the references support or contradict your previous conclusions.

When referring to the recipients of nursing care, I agree with this change, because I consider as a patient the person who suffers pain or discomfort and receives the services of a health professional, and undergoes an examination, treatment or to an intervention. As a nurse I refuse to use the term Client, because it may refer to Mercantilism, I also understand that if we are patients we trust the competence and know-how of the health professional, among the reasons for not treating a patient as a client I consider the following: the patient does not want to be there in the hospital, consultation, health center, emergency room, the patient is usually not prepared at any time, and does not usually have the precise knowledge to make decisions autonomously, and finally the patient is not alone . Many times the patient decides in a shared way with family, friends, caregivers, professionals who care for him, etc.

After reviewing the ANA code of ethics found in Butts (2015) textbook I can see that they use the term patient in lieu of client now. I honestly see the two as synonymous because I have been using the term patient since before I went to nursing school and worked as an xray technician but when I went to nursing school they told us to call them clients instead of patients. Now it seems like weve made a full circle and come back to calling them patients again. I simply do not see the difference and dont disagree with calling them patients or clients. I do suppose calling them clients makes me feel like we work for them instead of caring for them but, again, the two words have become synonymous to me and I dont care one way or another what we call the patients/clients.
Assignment wk 8 | Nursing homework help
Having a Health Care Administration Leadership Theory is essential to any health care administration leader. With a well-constructed theory, you integrate leadership perspectives into practice in order to offer solutions to health care administration problems. Also, with a visual representation of your theory, you may present another way to highlight your research with effective design and theory implementation.
For this Assignment, you complete another part of your Health Care Administration Leadership Theory based upon your understanding of leadership perspectives you have reviewed in this course. In addition, you must use a systems thinking approach in the development of your visual representation of your personal Health Care Administration Leadership Theory.
This week you will provide a visual representation of your Health Care Administration Leadership Theory. It can be a table, schematic diagram, graph, or any other representation you choose. Please feel free to be creative. However, the focus MUST be on leadership.
The Assignment (34 pages):
Provide a narrative explanation that shows how the developed theory can close the gap identified in the first part of the Project.
Explain how it incorporates systems thinking.
Both the narrative explanation and the visual representation are included in the page count for the Assignment length. Remember, your theory can be based on those that we have examined in this course or that you have researched on your own. There is no wrong theory. What matters is the explanation of how it addresses the gap and uses systems thinking. While this does not have to be addressed now, keep in mind the last part of the Project will involve presenting a methodology that tests the developed theory empirically.
Computer essentials unit v research report
Conduct research using the CSU Online Library to find at least two articles on a company that heavily uses electronic media and e-mail. o What types of media are they using? Who is their audience?
o How do they mitigate and respond to security threats in using electronic media and e-mail? What about security issues faced by their customers?
Your paper must use APA style guidelines and include a title, abstract, and reference page. Be sure to list all sources in the reference page and use in-text citations where appropriate. The title, abstract, and reference pages are not included in the required minimum page length.
Individual: file processing | Computer Science homework help
The following assignment incorporates the concepts from prior weeks (variables, if-else logic, loops, and arrays), along with this weeks topic of file input/output process.
Create a Visual Logic® program that will:
Create an array of peoples first names. Using a loop, read the names from a text (txt) file, and store each one into the array. The array should allow for a maximum of 100 entries. Continue to read in first names and store them into the array. The last entry in the text file, containing LastOne, will indicate the end of the list of names.
Prompt the user for a first name.
Loop through the array to determine if the first name entered exists in the array. If a match is found, display a message that includes the name and a message indicating that there was a match found. If no match is found, display a message so indicating.
Using a loop, continue to prompt the user for first names and determine if a match in the array is found. The loop should continue until the user indicates stop as the first name.
Resources/Tips:
This program requires the use of nested loops. The outer loop will repeat, prompting the user for a first name until the user indicates to stop. The inner loop will search through the array for a match.
Review the Sample Program #3 on pages 83-87 in A Guide to Working with Visual Logic® for an example of using files.
Have the txt files, your Visual Logic® program, the Visual Logic® exe file, and the VLSig file in the same folder.
Put quotes around each name in the text (txt) file.
Submit the following in a zip file, using the Assignment Files tab:
Text (txt) file with names
Visual Logic® (vls) file
