Extended draft outline of rhetorical analysis due in 3 hours

This week, you will be working on the Rhetorical Analysis by starting to draft and organize your ideas. You will submit an Extended Draft Outline this week to the Dropbox for your professor to grade. The purpose of this assignment is to begin collecting information and putting it in writing as you prepare for the 3- to 4-page final Rhetorical Analysis you will submit in Week 4.
First, read this weeks lecture and begin Chapter 8 in your text. Then go to the search engine of your choice and search for a print advertisement to use as the subject of your Rhetorical Analysis. You will need to provide a URL for your chosen ad, so be sure it is available online. Your chosen ad can be current or vintage. If you would like to analyze an ad from a different time period, type the phrase vintage ads into your browser.
Choose an ad that you can analyze based on its rhetorical appeals (reasoning, character, and emotion), and be sure the ad you choose is intriguing to you. Please make sure that your chosen ad is appropriate for classroom use and the workplace.
Locate the file “Week 3 Extended Draft Outline template” in Doc Sharing. Use this template and follow the format provided to create your extended draft outline this week. You’ll need to identify and describe the ad, draft a thesis, identify the use of rhetorical appeals, and draft a conclusion.
At the end of your extended draft outline, copy and paste the URL or website address for your ad (it will begin with http://) so that your readers can also view the ad.
Successful assignments will:

identify an advertisement, current or vintage, that’s appropriate for a college-level audience;
include a draft of the introduction and conclusion (minimum of one paragraph each);
include a tentative thesis statement at the end of the introduction;
include details to establish the visual description and context of the ad;
identify the various ways rhetorical appeals are used; and
be typed and submitted as a Microsoft Word 2010 document (.docx) using 12-point font.

From ongoing assignment:

This assignment will form a building block for the final project by requiring you to write an initial draft of the introduction and literature review section of your paper.  Prompt: You will submit an initial draft of your introduction and literature review. This paper should begin by introducing the general topic that you are researching (problem statement), it should provide an integrated, critical summary of the peer-reviewed literature on the topic, and it should introduce your research question and hypothesis. Please review the Final Project Document for a detailed look at all of the elements that ultimately need to be included in these sections of your paper. Be sure to use scholarly articles from the Shapiro Library. You may find Shapiro Library’s Psychology Resource Guide helpful as you gather sources for your literature review.   Your submission should include all of the following elements:  ? Description of the general topic or problem statement that you are researching ? An integrated discussion of the peer-reviewed existing research on your topic ? Analysis of different research designs for their advantages and disadvantages ? Evaluation of the appropriateness of the research designs to your research question and determination of the most appropriate design ? Summary of what is unknown about the topic ? Evaluation of the data analysis procedures used in the literature as they relate to the APA’s principles and standards ? Testable research question based on the previous research ? Testable hypothesis based on the research question and research around the topic  Guidelines for Submission: Your paper must be submitted as a Microsoft Word document with double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. Project Deliverable 3: Database and Data Warehousing Design
This assignment consists of two (2) sections: a design document and a revised project plan. You must submit both sections as separate files for the completion of this assignment. Label each file name according to the section of the assignment it is written for. Additionally, you may create and / or assume all necessary assumptions needed for the completion of this assignment.
One of the main functions of any business is to be able to use data to leverage a strategic competitive advantage. This feat hinges upon a company’s ability to transform data into quality information. The use of relational databases is a necessity for contemporary organizations; however, data warehousing has become a strategic priority due to the enormous amounts of data that must be analyzed along with the varying sources from which data comes. Since you are now the CIO of a data-collection company which gathers data by using Web analytics and operational systems, you must design a solution overview that incorporates data warehousing. The executive team needs to be clear about what data warehousing can provide the company.
Section 1: Design Document 1.Write a four to six (4-6) page design document in which you: ?Support the need for data warehousing within your company and elaborate on the best practices that the company will adhere to.?Create a schema that supports the company’s business and processes. Explain and support the database schema with relevant arguments that support the rationale for the structure. Note: The minimum requirement for the schema should entail the tables, fields, relationships, views, and indexes.?Create an Entity-Relationship (E-R) Diagram relating the tables of your database schema through the use of graphical tools in Microsoft Visio or an open source alternative such as Dia. Note: The graphically depicted solution is not included in the required page length but must be included in the design document appendix. Explain your rationale behind the design of your E-R Diagram.?Create a Data Flow Diagram (DFD) relating the tables of your database schema through the use of graphical tools in Microsoft Visio or an open source alternative such as Dia. Note: The graphically depicted solution is not included in the required page length but must be included in the design document appendix.?Illustrate the flow of data including both inputs and outputs for the use of a data warehouse. The diagram must map data between source systems, data warehouses and specified data marts. The diagram should map data between source systems, data warehouses, and specified data marts. Note: The graphically depicted solution is not included in the required page length.
Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements: •Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides; citations and references must follow APA or school-specific format. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.•Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required assignment page length.•Include charts or diagrams created in MS Visio or Dia as an appendix of the design document. All references to these diagrams must be included in the body of the design document.
Section 2: Revised Project Plan
Use Microsoft Project to: 2.Update the project plan from Project Deliverable 2: Business Requirements, with three to five (3-5) new project tasks each consisting of five to ten (5-10) sub-tasks.The specific course learning outcomes associated with this assignment are: •Summarize how information systems represent a key source of competitive advantage for organizations.•Develop information systems-related activities to maximize the business value within and outside the organization.•Use technology and information resources to research issues in information systems.•Write clearly and concisely about strategic issues and practices in the information systems domain using proper writing mechanics and technical style conventions.

Electronic Ballots Please respond to the following:

One criticism of electronic ballots for elections is that while intuitive for younger voters who are familiar with using a mouse to point and click, elderly voters and motor-impaired users will have difficulty controlling a mouse. Discuss how you would correct this issue so that every demographic would have an equal opportunity to vote. Support your answer.
Imagine you have just finished interviewing a recent college graduate for a design position within your company. At the end of the interview, the college graduate remarks that design would be much easier if people conformed to the design, rather than the design having to be accessible to diverse populations. Respond to this comment, addressing the legal, societal, and ethical issues that designers face in regard to human-computer interaction.
