Design a network topology that includes two or more VLANs to segment different departments or user groups within an organization

assignment 1Question 1: Enhancing Network Efficiency with SwitchingTask:a) Compare and contrast traditional Ethernet with high-speed Ethernet technologies, highlighting the key differences in terms of data transfer rates and networking capabilities.b) Explain how network switches improve network efficiency compared to bridges and hubs. Illustrate with a labeled diagram depicting the data flow in a switched network.Question 2: Implementing Virtual LANs for Network SegmentationTask:a) Define Virtual LANs (VLANs) and their significance in modern networking environments.b) Design a network topology that includes two or more VLANs to segment different departments or user groups within an organization. Justify your VLAN design based on security, scalability, and network performance.Question 3: Power over Ethernet (PoE) ImplementationTask:a) Investigate the concept of Power over Ethernet (PoE) and its practical applications in networking infrastructure.b) Analyze the benefits and challenges of implementing PoE in a network, considering factors such as device compatibility, power requirements, and cost-effectiveness.Assessment:The assignment will be assessed based on the following criteria:1. Comprehensive comparison of traditional and high-speed Ethernet technologies for Question 1a.2. Clear explanation and diagram of how network switches improve network efficiency for Question 1b.3. Well-designed network topology with justifications for VLAN implementation for Question 2.4. In-depth analysis of the benefits and challenges of Power over Ethernet for Question 3.5. Integration of relevant research and real-world examples to support arguments and findings.Note: Students are encouraged to use any diagramming tool of their choice (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart) to create the network topology diagram. Additionally, all sources should be cited appropriately using the required citation style.Format and Guidelines:The essay should be concise and within the 1000-word limit.Use a clear and logical structure, including brief headings for each part.Ensure proper citation and referencing of any sources used.Demonstrate critical thinking by providing relevant examples and supporting evidence.Use academic writing style and language appropriate for a graduate-level assignment.Submission: Submit your essay as a Word document *Failure to include a cover page with the exact formatting used in the assignment policy and/or reference page will result in a 10-point deduction*Your assignment submission will be turned into Turnitin. Turnitin does verify the use of AI-generated material, and this will be considered plagiarism. Note: It’s essential to review the specific guidelines and requirements provided by your instructor or institution before completing the assignment.Assignment 2Infeasibility”Looking at Coverage Criteria (from Chapter 8) can you think of a real-world example involving combinatorial coverage with limits due to “infeasibility”?   For example, I can drive my car from my house to the IGU campus by taking various combinations of roads A, B, C, D, E, F, G with these considerations: I can drive to IGU by road ( A then B )followed by either C and then D then For followed by D and then Fexcept that D is sometimes blocked during rush hour (and is, therefore, “infeasible”) and sowhen I want to take D and it’s blocked I must instead, take G.

Post a link to an online video that explains debits and credits that you think may be helpful to your classmates.  Explain: What element did you find helpful in this video and how was this video different than what was described in the textbook

Initial Post: Choose ONE of the three following questions to answer. You only need to answer one. You do not receive extra points for answering all three.Post a link to an online video that explains debits and credits that you think may be helpful to your classmates.  Explain: What element did you find helpful in this video and how was this video different than what was described in the textbook (For example: any errors? or different terms used?)Make your own video!  Make a video describing the debit/credit rules. Video should be 3-5 minutes long, and video quality (accuracy, entertainment value) will replace the spelling/grammar component of the grade. Many students who are visual learners find it helpful to make concept maps (or mind maps). Make a concept map that explains the first four steps of the recording process (analyze, journalize, post, transfer to ledger, and trial balance.  Here is an quick explanation of concept mapsLinks to an external site..  Your concept map can be computer generated or hand written and posted as a picture (make sure we can read it!).

A firm’s financial statements provide a visual representation of the business to stakeholders inside and outside the firm. Analyzing the financial statements helps managers carry out several important tasks. How would you go about evaluating your personal financial statement?

Directions: class discussion and a classmate response A firm’s financial statements provide a visual representation of the business to stakeholders inside and outside the firm. Analyzing the financial statements helps managers carry out several important tasks.Initial PostThink about how you would do budget planning and figuring out your net worth, and share your approach. How would you go about evaluating your personal financial statement? You may look at your bank and credit card statements. What else would you look at and why? What information can you glean from the statements? How do you budget? Important note: do not share your personal information, just your methodology.Reply PostRespond to one classmate’s post. Comment on your classmate’s budget planning process. What is something new you learned that you could apply to your situation? Offer a suggestion or practice you use to improve the process.8/22/23, 8:02 PM Net WorthI would consider personal net worth as if I were to leave this earth tomorrow, what would my family be left with? Since my daughter was born, I have tried to ensure that my 401K, life insurance, and savings would cover my debts and burial expenses and leave her with some extra to cover her schooling or start her own investments. When looking at my bank statements, savings would all be considered an asset. My checking would still be an asset only you have to subtract any outstanding debts that may have been authorized prior to the period but not actually withdrawn. Credit cards I do not consider an asset, while they have value and purchase power to me now if something happens to me; the debt would need to be paid and the credit available does not pass onto my family. BudgetMy family budgets monthly and for big-ticket items such as Christmas or vacation. The biggest thing that helped me keep to a budget, is breaking out household expenses such as soap, shampoo and cleaning supplies from groceries. When shopping in person in big retail stores such as Wal-Mart it’s easier to combine the two budgets. What I like to do is use the app for pick-up. That way I can add all of my “groceries” to the cart and get my total, then add all my household items. I take the total minus my groceries, and I get what I then spent on household items. Another way the app helps me stick to a budget is I meal plan every week. I go through the fridge and cabinets, so I only order the items I absolutely need. If I happen to exceed my grocery budget after adding all the needed items, I review my meal plan. I then substitute one of the higher-priced dinners with something more budget-friendly. Or change one of the meals to something I know we’ll have leftovers, like chili or stew; then, I don’t need to plan for as many meals.

Andy sues Ray Motors for injuries suffered while driving a used snowmobile that Ray Motors sold him. His suit is based on breach of warranty (a contract theory) and strict products liability (a tort theory). Discuss what the outcome will be of Andy’s second action.

I’m studying and need help with a Business Law question to help me learn. Andy sues Ray Motors for injuries suffered while driving a used snowmobile that Ray Motors sold him. His suit is based on breach of warranty (a contract theory) and strict products liability (a tort theory). Ray Motors moves to dismiss the contracts claim on the ground that the state long-arm statute does not authorize jurisdiction over it. The judge concludes that the long-arm statute allows the suit against Ray Motors for the tort claim but not the contract claim and thus dismisses the breach of warranty claim. The case goes to trial on the strict liability claim. After Andy presents his evidence, the trial judge grants a directed verdict for Ray Motors on the ground that Andy has not presented sufficient evidence that the snowmobile was defective. Judgment for Ray Motors is entered. Later, Andy sues Ray Motors again, for the same injuries. This time, he bases his claim in this action solely on a negligence theory. Discuss what the outcome will be of Andy’s second action.

Topic: Fallacies for Ethical Decisions

As we progress forward into this week, I am giving you links to explore how cognitive distortions may corrupt the decision-making process.  Listed below are three very interesting web pages from Dr. Kenneth S Pope, who has written on the psychology of ethics for many years.
As always, I am not endorsing his book, nor do I agree with all of his conclusions, but these pages I think will help all of us contemplate our thinking styles and problem-solving strategies that guide ethical decision making. So, this week you have the opportunity to research very important application of ethics in serious patient populations, and at the same time step back and examine ethical scenarios you may have encountered in your own workplace.
1. The first page is a link to consider common thinking pitfalls that may lead to unethical behavior.  Take the time to reflect on these categories and maybe you have witnessed some of these in your own careers.

https://kspope.com/ethics/ethicalstandards.php

2. Next, take time to research this list which is a more expansive list of common fallacies in psychology that may appear not only in ethical decision making scenarios. How were these applicable to your own professional experiences and how were they resolved?

https://kspope.com/fallacies/fallacies.php

3. Finally take time to review Dr Pope’s recommendations for steps to align the decision-making process for you:

https://kspope.com/memory/ethics.php

4. Now pick a fallacy, share how you think this fallacy derails ethical decision making, and how could you avoid that fallacy.

Learning the strengths and weaknesses of your staff can be the secret to unlocking the potential of your department. Provide at least two strategies you could use and describe what these strategies would reveal about your team members

Learning the strengths and weaknesses of your staff can be the secret to unlocking the potential of your department. Each employee will have different skills, experiences, and education. As a manager, you will be tasked with identifying the strengths and weaknesses of your staff. You will also have to unlock your staff’s potential.
Following the requirements for discussion posts found in the FEM, describe some ways you can go about identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the members of your team. Provide at least two strategies you could use and describe what these strategies would reveal about your team members.
Include one academic reference in your post. Use current APA style and formatting appropriate to the type of reference you provide.
LEADERSHIP TRAITS
The leadership style you adopt with your team will set the pace for how your department functions in the organization.
For your initial post to this discussion, identify traits of a strong leader and compare these to the traits of less effective leaders. Which of these traits do you recognize in your own leadership style? Which of your traits would you like to develop further and why?
In addition to following the guidelines in the Faculty Expectations message (FEM), include one academic reference in your post. Use current APA style and formatting appropriate to the type of reference you provide.
SYSTEMS LEVELS IN HEALTH CARE AND PUBLIC HEALTH
In your initial post, discuss how different systems levels in health care and public health in your own locality influence each other and how they impact health determinants. Suggest ways the various system levels could work together more effectively. Use evidence to explain why you think your suggested changes would improve effectiveness.
