Working with A Male or Female Supervisor Discussion

Q. During the course of your employment you may have experienced working for both a male and female supervisor. Discuss from your personal point of view the advantages/disadvantages and like/dislike of working for each gender. Use real life experiences if applicable. The traits that describe leaders with are subjective terms, it can be problematic to unpack whether the leadership traits are genuinely predominant in one gender or the other or whether they are easier to see because they are expected (Gartenstein, 2019).Some of my personal point of view on the pros and cons of male and female bosses are:Female supervisor pros Female supervisor cons Male supervisor pros Male supervisor consBy no means, I am saying all females are insecure and likes to gossip or males are not sensitive enough. These are just some of the traits I had noticed in my previous experiences and may be it had lot to do with my own personal biases. Therefore, these traits do not define or represent any gender.According to Pew research center, the public sees little distinction between men and women on several of the leadership traits. Large majorities say that when it comes to intelligence and innovation, men and women display those qualities equally and see no gender differences in ambition, honesty and decisiveness (Women and leadership, 2015).

Experiences with Viruses in The Past Discussion

reply to discussion post below:I have had bad experiences with viruses in the past. It?s mainly because I used to be lazy and if I got a pop up on the screen to update my machine I would keep clicking not now, which eventually caused my computer to get a lot more viruses when all I had to do was check it the first time I got a notification.I realized I was getting spam because I was not paying attention to what websites I was pulling up or clicking on. Even one accidental click can give you a virus on your computer, it is sad that that is how easy it is.Working at a defense contractor you have to be very careful what websites you?re on and what emails you open. Sometimes they will send ?fake ?suspicious emails to see who actually pulls them up. We took a training when we first started that showed emails like the one they sent and to be aware that it is spam and we should not open it. I accidently opened two ?fake emails? when I started and within a few days had a virus on my computer. I now have Norton security on my home computer and I?m not sure what my company uses. The recommendation I would give is to keep up to date on all your security software and be aware of what emails you open and what websites you click on. By doing so it should minimalize your chances of getting a virus.

Brain Disease

Final Paper: Brain Disease At the beginning of this week, you were introduced to the idea of mental illness as a disease rather than a set of symptoms or behavior. Physiological psychology forms the basis for this paradigm shift. A better understanding of mental illness and its associated symptoms/behavior will result from the combination of both a psychological and biological model of study. For your final project, choose a mental illness to research from both a biological and a psychological standpoint. Look at causes of the mental illness (both biological and environmental), brain structures affected by the illness, hormonal differences in the nervous system, neural pathways affected, etc. You will also need to include a section on treatment options and the specific physiological effects of the chosen treatment method on the nervous system. In conclusion of your assignment, include a paragraph on the importance of using a combination of physiology and psychology in understanding the illness you chose. What insight would be missing without one perspective or the other (physiology or psychology)? You will need to include in-text citations from at least four different resources. Your assignment should also include an introduction, body and conclusion with a reference page listing the resources you cited. Include at least one paragraph for each of the following sections:Should you have any questions regarding this assignment, direct them to your course facilitator.Document TypeMS WordPaper Size8.5 X 11″Length4-5 pagesMarginsTimes or Times New Roman, 12 pt.Line SpacingDouble. SPED 4310 TAMU Communication Paper

Although communication may seem easy and automatic, for some of our students it is a difficult task.Children who have significant support needs often struggle with every day tasks. At one point, our educational field believed that a child’s intellectual ability was equal to his/her expressive language skills. Therefore, a child who did not communicate verbally or did not communicate well, was considered to have intellectual disabilities.Today, we know that is not always the case.Create a communication board using an 8.5×11? sheet of paper. Your board can include graphics (from clip art, Google images, other software programs), words, letters, or numbers. The board must be computer generated.Activity:Choose the setting (when, where, who) in which you will use your communication board. For one hour, YOU cannot use YOUR voice to communicate. Your communication partners should use their voices to communicate? only you will be using an alternate form of communication. You may only use gestures or your communication board (so design your board well!). You cannot use written communication, but you may use a keyboard on your communication board.Assignment:Type a thorough reflection paper of your communication board activity. Use an introduction, body, and conclusion format. Describe your setting (one paragraph) and how well you were able to use your board (one paragraph). Also, include a reflection of your thoughts of this experience (at least one paragraph):
