Briefly describe the nonprofit organization you are using for your Final Project. Describe at least two solicitation strategies you might use to engage donors who make small-to-medium donations, and explain why you chose each.

It is critical to be proactive in creating specific solicitation strategies for new and/or existing “small–medium” donors. These individual donors (usually $1–$499 annual gifts) are an important base of support. Over time they may become major donors. Given meaningful cultivation and education strategies, they may also increase the size of their donations over time. They often learn of your organization and its work through special events, mail appeals, visits to a website, or simply through a board member or volunteer. The key is to encourage a one-time donor to become an ongoing, thoughtful donor!

In a 3- to 4-page paper (not including the title page or references), describe strategies for soliciting donors who make small-to-medium donations.

Briefly describe the nonprofit organization you are using for your Final Project.
Describe at least two solicitation strategies you might use to engage donors who make small-to-medium donations, and explain why you chose each.
Explain how the solicitation strategies you chose might help build and maintain the organization’s donor base and entice donors to upgrade their gifts. Be specific.
Finally, explain how the internet and social media can be used for your fundraising efforts.

Use proper APA formatting and include the following:

An introduction that states the purpose of the paper

In this essay you should identify one (1) that you argue is universal to Native American women. That is, which one is the most prevalent in your opinion? Why is this important? Make sure that you support your claim with cited evidence from the course materials. You need at least three specific examples from across the semester, one of which must be from this last unit (Erdrich, Myaamia women leaders, Harjo, or Rose Simpson).

Case study : Hematopoietic:J.D. is a 37 years old white woman who presents to her gynecologist complaining of a 2-month history of intermenstrual bleeding, menorrhagia, increased urinary frequency, mild incontinence, extreme fatigue, and weakness. Her menstrual period occurs every 28 days and lately, there have been 6 days of heavy flow and cramping. She denies abdominal distension, backache, and constipation. She has not had her usual energy levels since before her last pregnancy. Past Medical History (PMH):Upon reviewing her past medical history, the gynecologist notes that her patient is a G5P5 with four pregnancies within four years, the last infant having been delivered vaginally four months ago. All five pregnancies were unremarkable and without delivery complications. All infants were born healthy. Patient history also reveals a 3-year history of osteoarthritis in the left knee, probably the result of sustaining significant trauma to her knee in an MVA when she was 9 years old. When asked what OTC medications she is currently taking for her pain and for how long she has been taking them, she reveals that she started taking ibuprofen, three tablets each day, about 2.5 years ago for her left knee. Due to a slowly progressive increase in pain and a loss of adequate relief with three tablets, she doubled the daily dose of ibuprofen. Upon the recommendation from her nurse practitioner and because long-term ibuprofen use can cause peptic ulcers, she began taking OTC omeprazole on a regular basis to prevent gastrointestinal bleeding. Patient history also reveals a 3-year history of HTN for which she is now being treated with a diuretic and a centrally acting antihypertensive drug. She has had no previous surgeries. Case Study 1 Questions: Name the contributing factors on J.D. that might put her at risk to develop iron deficiency anemia. Within the case study, describe the reasons why J.D. might be presenting constipation and or dehydration. Why Vitamin B12 and folic acid are important for erythropoiesis? What abnormalities their deficiency might cause in the red blood cells?

Case Study 1 Questions:

Name the contributing factors on J.D. that might put her at risk to develop iron deficiency anemia.
Within the case study, describe the reasons why J.D. might be presenting constipation and or dehydration.
Why Vitamin B12 and folic acid are important for erythropoiesis? What abnormalities their deficiency might cause in the red blood cells?
The gynecologist is suspecting that J.D. might be experiencing iron deficiency anemia. In order to support the diagnosis, list and describe the clinical symptoms that J.D. might have positive for Iron deficiency anemia.
If the patient is diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia, what do you expect to find as signs of this type of anemia? List and describe.
Lab results came back for the patient. Hb 10.2 g/dL; Hct 30.8%; Ferritin 9 ng/dL; red blood cells are smaller and paler in color than normal. Research list and describe appropriate recommendations and treatments for J.D.

CardiovascularMr. W.G. is a 53-year-old white man who began to experience chest discomfort while playing tennis with a friend. At first, he attributed his discomfort to the heat and had a large breakfast. Gradually, however, discomfort intensified to a crushing sensation in the sternal area and the pain seemed to spread upward into his neck and lower jaw. The nature of the pain did not seem to change with deep breathing. When Mr. G. complained of feeling nauseated and began rubbing his chest, his tennis partner was concerned that his friend was having a heart attack and called 911 on his cell phone. The patient was transported to the ED of the nearest hospital and arrived within 30 minutes of the onset of chest pain. En route to the hospital, the patient was placed on a nasal cannula and an IV D5W was started. Mr. G. received aspirin (325 mg PO) and 2 mg/IV morphine. He is allergic to meperidine (rash). His pain has eased slightly in the last 15 minutes but is still significant; was 9/10 in severity; now7/10. In the ED, chest pain was not relieved by 3 SL NTG tablets. He denies chills.
Case Study 2 Questions:

For patients at risk of developing coronary artery disease and patients diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction, describe the modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors.
What would you expect to see on Mr. W.G. EKG and which findings described in the case are compatible with the acute coronary event?
Having only the opportunity to choose one laboratory test to confirm the acute myocardial infarction, which would be the most specific laboratory test you would choose and why?
How do you explain that Mr. W.G’s temperature has increased after his Myocardial Infarction, when can that be observed, and for how long? Base your answer on the pathophysiology of the event.
Explain to Mr. W.G. why he was experiencing pain during his Myocardial Infarction. Elaborate and support your answer.

Through a clinical example (ideally it can be taken from a process recording) demonstrate an incident where you were faced with a clinical challenge. b) Analyze and discuss your cognitive and affective (what you thought and felt) reactions to this client. Highlight any conflicts, areas of being “stuck” and difficult decisions in your practice with this client. c) Analyze and discuss any biases, fears, strongly positive reactions, rescue fantasies, anger, empathy, similarities or conflicts you experienced. How did you handle these feelings? This refers to countertransference.

Paper Requirements: 8-10 pages, must use class textbook, APA format, double spaced, look for suggested outline and headings below:
For this paper choose a client that you have worked during your placement. Ideally this will be a client who you have worked for at least 3-4 weeks, and has presented some therapeutic challenges. You are strongly encouraged to choose a client that is “different” from you in terms for example of race, gender, age, sexual orientation, class, religion.
Part I (3-4 pages) (DUE MODULE IV week 8)
In Part I, you are invited to present a brief summary of the case a brief case formulation and an assessment of the client’s attachment style. You will need to justify the attachment style you chose by referring to the readings and other educational material. You are expected to demonstrate the client’s attachment by referring to specific observations in therapy. For example Client was always getting anxious upon separation…”
In addition, you are encouraged to reflect on how you responded to the client’s attachment style in the therapeutic relationship e.g. “given that the client was always anxious above separation, I made sure I reminded them that they had five minutes left ‘OR “I felt unsure what do to” “Or “I ended up giving them extra time as they seem to need it and was late for my next client”.
Here how you can structure the first part of the paper:
Identifying Information (1 paragraph)
1. General statement about who the client is. Refer to Age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, marital status, employment, education, & resources (housing, finances, support system)
2. Diagnoses (DSM- V), medication, and major medical conditions
3. How client came to you (referral source) & your role (mentor, case worker, home-based therapist, clinician, school social worker)
Presenting Problem (1 paragraph)
1. Identify client’s core problem?
2. How/why did the core problem develop?
3. How is the core problem impacting the client currently?
Mental Status, Current Functioning Cognitive Behavioral Assessment (1 page)
Narrative format (not bullets)
Neutral/non-judgmental descriptions.
Attachment Style Assessment and Clinical Presentation (2 pages)
Using Chapter 6 in the Teyber text, our powerpoints and other attachment related readings identify your client’s predominant attachment style with specific examples (statements & behavior)
Try and identify the reasons for his/her attachment style based upon early childhood experiences, trauma history, parenting style
Identify how your client exhibits this attachment style in his/her interactions with you (process dimension)
Identify any transference & countertransference that has occurred in your interactions related to the attachment style of your client
Part II (4-5 pages) (DUE Module VII)
Effective advanced generalist clinical practice requires constant re-examination of how we think and feel about clients as well as about what we do with them. It means acknowledging and embracing our prejudices, fears and errors as well as our successes. This part is aimed at increasing student self-awareness, and an ability to connect theory and practice and the skill of reflection-in-action.
Part II continues with the same client, and discusses therapeutic challenges (i.e. therapeutic impasses, complicated transference & countertransference) mistakes and corrective emotional experiences. (4-5 pages)
This refers to countertransference.
d) How did these thoughts and feelings affect your work with this client?
e) How did you react? How else could you have reacted? How was it resolved or not?
f) Were you able to use supervision? How was it useful?
g) Any examples of corrective emotional experience.

Research the SANS Institute security life cycle and provide a brief summary, in your own words, of the purpose, the scope of the ideology, and how you will apply this to your future career as a cybersecurity professional. Be sure to include the four steps within the process.

Throughout your career as a cyber professional, you may be asked to conduct intelligence-gathering activities. In preparation, write a word synopsis identifying what cyber threat intelligence is and why it is important. For the abusive or illegal activity identified in Part 1, determine whether the activity in question is cybercrime or cyber-assisted crime if carried out. Compare and contrast a cybercrime vs. a cyber-assisted crime using your example as a basis for discussion.

SPSS Exercises
SPSS Exercises 2: Univariate Analyes
Review the four levels of variable measurement presented in Chapter 5.
Using the textbook, define “nominal measure.”
Using the textbook, define “ordinal measure.”
Using the textbook, define “interval measure.”
Using the textbook, define “ratio measure.”
Access the National Crime Victimization Survey dataset in the SPSS folder in Engage. Go back to the variable that indicates the relationship between the victim and the offender from SPSS Exercises 1.
a. At which level is this variable measured?
b. Run a frequency distribution of this variable), requesting the mode, median, and mean. Interpret the frequency distribution to state by whom we are most likely to be attacked according to this frequency distribution.
c. Remember to include the relevant SPSS output directly below your text answer.
6. Access the youth.sav dataset in the SPSS folder in Engage.
a. At which level is the variable V63 measured?
b. Run a frequency distribution for the variable V63, which provides information on how often respondents’ parents know where they are when they are away from home using the following response options: 1 = never, 2 = sometimes, 3 = usually, and 4 = always. Again, request the mode, median, and mean when you obtain the frequency distribution. Interpret the frequency distribution to state parents’ average knowledge of the whereabouts of their children from this sample.
c. Remember to include the relevant SPSS output directly below your text answer.
7. 7. Access the homicide.sav dataset in the SPSS folder in Engage.
a. At which level is the variable PRITIME measured?
b. Run a frequency distribution for the variable PRITIME, which indicates length of prison sentence. Again, request the mode, median, and mean when you obtain the frequency distribution. Interpret the frequency distribution to state the average length of prison sentences for homicide defendants.
The level of variable measurement dictates how to summarize the SPSS output. This chart can help you determine choose the summarize the frequency distribution according to the level at which these variables are measures:
Level of Variable Measurement
Appropriate Measure of Central Tendency to Report
Appropriate Univariate Statistic to Report
Nominal
Mode
Modal category from the statistics table/frequency table
Valid percent associated with mode from the frequency table
Ordinal
Median
Median category from the statistics table/frequency table
Cumulative percent associated with the median from the frequency table
Interval
Mean*
Mean value from the statistics table
Ratio
Mean*
Mean value from the statistics table
*For skewed data, it is appropriate to report the median instead of the mean. For the purposes of this course, we can assume that the data are not skewed.
Here are some examples using the homicide.sav dataset of how to word responses involving univariate statistics in SPSS:
· The variable “death” is measured at the nominal level.
· The average sentence is no/other sentence (78.3%).
· The variable “prconv” is measured at the ordinal level.
· The average number of prior convictions is zero (66.9%).
· The variable “dage” is measured at the ratio level.
· The average age of homicide defendants is 29.23.
For the variable “death,” required SPSS output looks like this:
