Choose an evaluation method described by Toseland & Rivas (2017) or London (2007), and use it to evaluate your group

The Ending Stage and Evaluation

The ending stage of a group is just as important as the beginning stage. Effective termination is an important part of the therapeutic process and an expectation of the NASW Code of Ethics (1996). Some members of the group may need further therapy or services, and it is the responsibility of the clinical social worker to assess every member’s needs. Also, the members should feel that some type of closure has occurred, and this is often done through ending exercises. These exercises help the members of the group say goodbye to one another and acknowledge the group’s accomplishments. Another important part of the ending stage is the evaluation of the group intervention. The NASW Code of Ethics (1996) requires that some type of evaluation method is implemented in clinical practice. The social worker should evaluate the group’s goals and the level of success of the group process.Learning ObjectivesStudents will:  Learning ResourcesRequired ReadingsToseland, R. W., & Rivas, R. F. Briefly discuss what cultural competence means to you and whether there any benefits of developing cultural competence when working with children and families.

The initial post has several sections to it. Make sure to complete all of them. You will be required to write your thoughts before and after doing the reading. Write those down in a separate document and paste into the forum when you are done. I will grade using the rubric for online posts outlined in the syllabus. 1.      Before doing the reading or further research, briefly discuss what cultural competence means to you and whether there any benefits of developing cultural competence when working with children and families.2.      The NEA policy brief outlines reasons to become culturally competent, which of these reasons resonated with you and why? Provide an example, ideally from your work with children, which would illustrate the importance of that point. (CulturalCompetence-VanRoekel-NEA attachment)Complete the Cultural Competency Self-Assessment (attached below). While you answer it, think of your work with children. If you haven’t worked with children, think of your school growing up. 3.      What did you learn through the CC Self-Assessment exercise?  In which do need to work on? 4.      How do you think the self-assessment connects with or reflect some of the concepts described in Baird’s reading? Include page numbers and specific reflections that show you have read. ( Required readings: Working with Diversity-Baird Ch6-)EACH QUESTION SUPPOSE TO HAVE 6-7 SENTENCES

Explain whether you believe McLuhan’s global village or Lule’s global village of Babel better describes our world and why.

2. Explain whether you believe McLuhan’s global village or Lule’s global village of Babel better describes our world and why.3. In support of your argument for either McLuhan’s vision or Lule’s vision, you’ll describe how media influence economics, politics, and culture in ways that positively or negatively affect the global village? This essay will consist of multiple ideas; Mcluhan, Lule’s and mine. There will be a discussion describing the connection between the pervasive media environment and the global village. I will then pick a side in which I agree with Mcluhan’s global village or Lule’s global village when describing the world we live in. With the evidence shown, (whomever I choose) I will go more in depth about how the media has influenced economics, politics, and culture and that’s either in a positive way or negative effect on the global village. Essay Must be 5 pages, 12 times font and doubled spaced No PLAGARISM

If market interest rates remain unchanged, do you think it is likely that the bond will be called in three years? Why or why not?

Stock and Bond Valuations

As an investor, you are considering an investment in the bonds of the Front Range Electric Company. The bonds pay interest semiannually, will mature in eight years, and have a coupon rate of 4.5% on a face value of $1,000. Currently, the bonds are selling for $900. If your required return is $5.75 for bonds in this risk class, what is the highest price you would be willing to pay? What is the current yield of these bonds? If you hold the bonds for one year, and interest rates do not change, what total rate of rate of return will you earn? Why is this different from the current yield and YTM? If the bonds can be called in three years with a call premium of 4% of the face value, what is the yield to call on these bonds? If market interest rates remain unchanged, do you think it is likely that the bond will be called in three years? Why or why not?

When are warranty contracts considered separately priced?

  1. FASB Code Questions :Pleasant Co. manufactures specialty bike accessories. The company is known for product quality, and it has offered one of the best warranties in the industry on its higher-priced products—a lifetime guarantee, performing all the warranty work in its own shops. The warranty on these products is included in the sales price.Due to the recent introduction and growth in sales of some products targeted to the low-price market, Pleasant is considering partnering with another company to do the warranty work on this line of products, if customers purchase a service contract at the time of original product purchase. Pleasant has called you to advise the company on the accounting for this new warranty arrangement.InstructionsGo to http://aaahq.org/asclogin.cfm to log in and prepare responses to the following. Provide Codification references for your responses.(a) Identify the accounting literature that addresses the accounting for the type of separately priced warranty that Pleasant is considering.(b) When are warranty contracts considered separately priced?(c) What are incremental direct acquisition costs and how should they be treated?  2. Written Questions :Answer the following questions in 1 page or less for each question.Question 1:Pleasant Co. is considering issuing bonds for the expansion of its business overseas. Is it more advantageous for Pleasant Co. to offer customers the option to purchase additional service contracts or to provide warranties on all products sold considering its upcoming bond issuance? Suggested approach to answer this question:1. Write out the journal entries for Assurance-typed warranties and Service-typed warranties and think of the balance sheet impact of each.2. Think about how the balance sheet impact would impact the selling price of bonds. Remember that investors look at liquidity ratios when determining the risk of a bond issuanceQuestion 2:Pleasant Co. currently relies upon third-party service providers to repair products under assurance-typed warranties and is considering opening service locations.          Opening service locations would require significant fixed asset investment but would be less expensive per repair.Discuss the impact on the balance sheet and impact on any two liquidity ratios of moving from a per unit more expensive third-party service provider to a less expensive in-house warranty servicing in an e-mail format to your hypothetical manager.Suggested approach to answer this question:· Consider where Pleasant Co. would gather funds for the investment in fixed assets to open service locations and its effects on the balance sheet.· Write out the journal entries for assurance-typed warranties and think of how the estimates in the journal entries are affected by this proposed change.

Summarize in a short paper what worked best for you during the negotiation exercise.

This exercise allows you to see how many everyday opportunities there are to barter and negotiate – and to reflect on your negotiations.  You will negotiate a series of 5 trades beginning with a paper clip and ending with something more valuable, e.g. you might trade your paperclip for a pen, then the pen for a pack of gum, then the gum for a used thumb drive, then the thumb drive for a DVD, then the DVD for a used computer bag.But there’s a catch: none of your negotiations can be done face-to-face or with other students in the class. Business is done more and more at a distance and so are negotiations. You can use any form of electronic, telecommunications or social media outlets that you would like to. You also must negotiate at least one trade with someone with whom you have conflict or who you really don’t like very well.Keep a log of what happened in the trade. Then summarize in a short paper what worked best for you, etc.Negotiation Requirements:Summary Requirements
