Week 5 ia virtual poster conference
Poster presentations at conferences are effective methods of communicating research findings. The discussion of the research being presented is a key element in poster conferences. During professional conferences, poster presenters speak with other psychology professionals providing insights into the information offered within the poster as well as explaining key elements of the research findings. See the PSY699 Poster submission guidelinesLinks to an external site. for templates and guidelines to aid in the creation of your poster.
For this week?s discussion, you will be submitting a link to your Folio account where your colleagues will find your poster presentation along with a brief detailed explanation of the materials included in it. Poster presentations are typically informal affairs with limited time for presenters to provide extra information. In keeping with this, your explanations of the materials will be limited to specific parameters. To explain the research presented in your poster, you will be creating a 3- to 5-minute screencast video. You may use any screencast software to create this video. (For further assistance with specific free-use screencast software please see the Quick-Start Guide for Screencast-O-MaticLinks to an external site.) Within the screencast video, you will create a voice over that will point out unusual, unique, and important aspects of the research presented in the poster. Be certain to visually indicate the specific sections or headers where the elements are located to guide your viewers through the materials. The link to the screencast will be attached to the poster page within your Folio project so that your colleagues may interact with your insights into the materials.
Include the link to your Folio project with your completed poster and screencast link in your initial post prior to Day 3.

RWS 305W SDSU Ethical Dilemmas Discussion
Each week/module, we will respond to the prompt in 250-words or more. We will use this activity for peer review and discussion with a few of our class mates. This process has two steps (1. Post 2. Respond). 1. You post your work before 11:30 pm Thursday evening. Your group mates will do the same. Then you write a thoughtful, 100-word or more response to each of your group mates’ posts. This response is due before 11:30 pm Sunday evening. You are welcome to strike up a conversation. We are here to help each other improve our writing. Suggestions and information are key. In that vein, compliments and vague statements will not count toward the 100-word response limit, as compliments alone will not help a group mate improve a piece of writing. Each Discussion assignment is worth 10 points total. Partial points may be awarded to partial efforts. Students must respond to their group mates to receive any points. And because this is a conversation that happens in time and place the due dates will be monitored and enforced. Prompt: Please craft your conclusion as a discussion on the consequences of your determination at the end of the analysis paragraph. This may be a strategy moving forward. This may be a set of mitigations. This may be a road map. This may be a reconsideration. Consider the set of steps below:–Discuss the consequences of the answer to your central question.–Build a strategy of actionable items that you intend to see through to success.–Address how you might negotiate the major issues affecting that industry.–Forecast how you see your potential career unfolding. Give details.–Mention some of the benefits not just to you, but others as well.Responders: This move described above is not a summary, but an exploration into and a strategy for the future. So it is uniquely personal and no two conclusions will be the same. But you can still let your group mates know whether or not the reader can follow along with their journey, whether the writing and thinking is clear, and whether or not the writing meets the prompt.

THE CASE OF THE MEETING OF THE MINDS Plaintiff Tarth signed a five-year commercial lease in July 2019 with the Defendant, Oakshade Town Center, for space in a shopping center in Davis, CA. A provision of the lease stated: ?Lessee does not rely on the fact nor does Lessor represent that any specific Lessee of type or number of Lessees shall, during the term of this lease, occupy any space in the Shopping Center?. Tarth vacated the premises in April 2021 and sued Defendant for rescission and damages. The Trial Plaintiff alleges that he entered into the lease in reliance on false statements made by the defendant and its agent; that Dunkin Donuts, Wendy’s, and Chipotle would be leasing and occupying sites near his and that they would commence operations by the end of 2019. Dunkin Donuts and Wendy’s never leased space. Chipotle became a tenant but not until December 2020.Defendant admits that his agent discussed other tenants with the Plaintiff. Defendant disputes the misrepresentation, claiming they were not statements of fact, but statements of opinion about possible future conduct and alleges, in any event, the alleged misrepresentation was not material to the Plaintiff because of the provision in the lease (stated above).Questions to Discuss
