Post a brief outline of the case study and consider the conclusion that the vocational rehabilitation intervention program may be effective at promoting full-time employment. What statistical information shows whether the program was effective (or not)? Review the factors that limit the internal validity of a study (history, maturation, testing, instrumentation, statistical regression, selection bias, and attrition).Select and explain which of these factors might limit the ability to draw conclusions regarding cause-and-effect relationships.
If the six-month interest rate is 6% and the one-year interest rate is 8%, what is the rate for an FRA over the period from six months to one year? Assume that the number of days up to six months is 182 and from six months to one year is 183.
Task
In this assignment you will solve problems about Interest-Rate Futures, Forwards, and Swaps.
Instructions
Use your textbook to answer the following questions from Chapter 6:
Exercise 15, 16, 20, and 21.
Please, upload xls, xlsx file.
Please, use the full computing power of Excel.
Questions:
15. If the six-month interest rate is 6% and the one-year interest rate is 8%, what is the rate
for an FRA over the period from six months to one year? Assume that the number of
days up to six months is 182 and from six months to one year is 183.
16. If the three-month (91 days) Libor rate is 4% and the six-month (183 days) rate is 5%,
what should be the 3°ø6 FRA rate? If, at the end of the contract, the three-month Libor
rate turns out to be 5%, what should the settlement amount be?
20. You enter into an FRA of notional 6 million to borrow on the three-month underlying
Libor rate six months from now and lock in the rate of 6%. At the end of six months, if
the underlying three-month rate is 6.6% over an actual period of 91 days, what is your
payoff given that the payment is made right away? Recall that the ACT/360 convention
applies.
21. You have entered into the 69 FRA of Question 20 at the rate of 6%. After three months,
the FRA is now a 3 °ø 6 FRA. If the three-month Libor rate is 5%, and the six-month
Libor rate is 7%, what is the current value of the FRA? Assume that the number of days
in the first three months is 92.

1. Your research questions
The chemical dioxin, otherwise known as Agent Orange, was used during the Vietnam conflict, and is still causing serious problems for those who were exposed to it. What is being done to mitigate those problems caused using Agent Orange?
2. Working title
The working title for my project is: Agent Orange, Then and Now.
3. A summary of your project. Identify your topic and describe what you will be looking at in terms of the topic? Include some key terms and additional questions that will guide your research.
I will be looking for information about dioxin. Dioxin was a defoliant used during the Vietnam War. Little was known at the time about the affects it would have on those who were exposed to this chemical. Dioxin to this day is still causing birth defects and shortened life spans along with multiple other diseases. Additionally, the United States is spear heading remediation efforts in Vietnam and I would like to learn more about the processes used to clean those areas affected by dioxin.
4. A description of your purpose for working on this project. Why did you choose this topic? What do you hope to learn from this project?
I have chosen to research dioxin because I have several family members who were exposed to it. My uncle was drafted at the age of eighteen and sent to fight in the conflict. Years later, he developed prostate cancer because of his exposure. His time in combat was cut short after receiving a gunshot wound to the head which he survived. Another person close to me, my father, was deployed twice to Vietnam. He spent a considerable amount of time there and was exposed to Agent Orange. As of recently, my father was declared cancer free but only after years of battling esophageal and stomach cancer. I am also curious about the potential birth defects caused to the children of those soldiers who were exposed.
5. A discussion of the key challenges you will face, or you imagine you will face. What concerns do you have regarding the research/project?
Some of the key challenges I think I will face will be finding reliable sources for information. The USA.GOV website provides a good bit of information, but I do think there will be some challenges to overcome when finding information outside of the government website. Although finding numerous sources has proven to be a challenge, the information I have uncovered so far has revealed there will be plenty to write about. I am particularly interested in the removal of the remaining dioxin and what methods are being used in the remediation process. I am also hoping to find information about those companies who have been contracted to clean up the remaining dioxin in Vietnam.

Although I have not used CAD since I was in high school about 20 years ago, I remember that there are tons of benefits of CAD software. Describe the 7 Major Advantages of CAD Software for Design. It looks like it has come a long way since then though. It can be used to design 2D drawings and 3D models with precise measurements. Many industries utilize CAD every single day, including engineering, industrial design, architecture, and product design.
CAD software allows designers to increase productivity with lower production costs, work faster and smarter, and ultimately leads to quicker project completion while keeping teams smaller. The designer no longer must completely start over just because they make one mistake. On the same note, if the design does not function as expected, they can simply alter it instead of starting over. CAD drawings can also be clearer and easier to read than traditional pencil and paper drawings.
CAD software can also produce aesthetically pleasing models that can be used by other departments, including marketing and sales, without spending money on a prototype. This software also makes it easy to share work between team members and view design history for collaborating, there is even cloud-based software that is increasingly popular so work can be accomplished anywhere with a network connection. Based on my research, CAD software has a lot of new features that I am excited to learn about.

Share examples of two products (choose any products) you have recently purchased and analyze why you selected each by your level of satisfaction. What type of products they were?
1. Compare pricing strategies in the ‘most consumable’ and ‘luxury’ products in times of inflation.
2. Why pricing is so important within the marketing-mix.
3. Estimate the BEP for your product and describe how it affects short- or long-term ROI (in your non-profit projects speak about your costs and funding options);
4. Is your product elastic or inelastic, what price elasticity presents for your product (sales volume, inventory costs, price adjustments, etc.);
5. What are major ethical and public policy issues that have implications for your pricing strategy.
