Your argument could focus on a problem or challenge that you believe is at the center of the issue, barriers that make it difficult to resolve, or an approach to overcoming these barriers that you find particularly compelling. Your essay will support your argument by demonstrating how it connects to major conversations within your issue, and analyzing how academic research, news coverage, and magazine/periodical sources address the issue and contribute to the conversation about it.
