Choose three of the five descriptions of history and discuss them from your own perspective and how you feel about the study of the past through the eyes of people.
-History does not repeat itself, but it often rhymes.
-History is a set of lies, agreed upon.
-History is the sum total of things that could have been avoided.
-History is a gallery of pictures in which there are few originals and many copies.
History repeats itself, first as a tragedy, then as a farce.
1. Choose three of the five descriptions of history and discuss them from your own perspective and how you feel about the study of the past through the eyes of people. Tie them together logically and discuss how you got to this point. How do you relate these things? Do you agree or disagree as a whole?
2. How would YOU describe history in the most succinct way possible. Use your own words, not text from online or outside sources. I am looking for your own point of view, creativity and insight into how you view things.

Identify and discuss the various factors that contribute to imperfect decision making in YOUR organization, the ARMY.
We all experience vulnerability at times with the decision making process. View the video, The Power of Vulnerability.
Based on the video, how do we make ourselves vulnerable or not so vulnerable with decision-making. Sometimes do we try to make the uncertain, certain, by making a decision without the facts and taking into consideration everyone’s perspective of the decision at hand? Do we pretend that the other perspective doesn’t even exist when we are making decisions?
Identify and discuss the various factors that contribute to imperfect decision making in YOUR organization, the ARMY.

Summarize how the current account, capital account, and the official reserve account impact a country’s BOP.
Balance of Payments (BOP) is a method that countries use to manage international financial transactions. Different countries conduct this analysis at different time periods throughout the fiscal year. They use the BOP as a checks and balances system that assesses the current financial status of credits and debits of the country. Reflect on your reading from this week and consider how the current account, capital account, and the official reserve account components affect a country’s BOP.
With these thoughts in mind, address the following:
- Summarize how the current account, capital account, and the official reserve account impact a country’s BOP.
- Explain which condition you think is more desirable for a country—a BOP surplus or deficit. Support your response using this week’s Learning Resources.

What are the needs of your stakeholders that are relevant to your target population and need?
Develop a 4-6 page plan that will allow your intervention to be implemented in your target population and setting.
Introduction
Note: Each assessment in this course builds on the work you completed in the previous assessment. Therefore, you must complete the assessments in this course in the order in which they are presented.
Even the best intervention plan will not be effective without a sound and reasonable approach to implementing it. The implementation of the same intervention plan can vary drastically between different care settings, based on the culture of the care setting, the resources available, and the stakeholders involved in the project, as well as the specific policies already in place. A successful implementation plan blends contemporary and emerging best practices and technology with an understanding of the on-the-ground realities of a specific care setting and the target population for an intervention. By synthesizing these various considerations it is possible to increase the likely success of the implementation and continued sustainability of an intervention plan.
Preparations
- Read Guiding Questions: Implementation Plan Design [DOC]. This document is designed to give you questions to consider and additional guidance to help you successfully complete this assessment.
- As you prepare to complete this assessment, you may want to think about other related issues to deepen your understanding or broaden your viewpoint. You are encouraged to consider the questions below and discuss them with a fellow learner, a work associate, an interested friend, or a member of your professional community. Note that these questions are for your own development and exploration and do not need to be completed or submitted as part of your assessment.
- What are the needs of your stakeholders that are relevant to your target population and need?
- What applicable health care policy and regulations are relevant to your target population and need?
- How will these considerations impact the development of your Intervention Plan Design assessment?
- How can you work these considerations into the development of your Implementation Plan Design assessment?
Instructions
Note: The assessments in this course are sequenced in such a way as to help you build specific skills that you will use throughout your program. Complete the assessments in the order in which they are presented.
Your implementation plan design will be the third section of your final project submission. The goal for this is to design a plan that will allow your intervention to be theoretically implemented in your target population and setting. You should be able to preserve the quality improvement outcomes that you designed for your target population and setting while also ensuring that the intervention does not put undue stress on the health care setting’s resources or violate any policies or regulations. Provide enough detail so that the faculty member assessing your implementation plan design will be able to provide substantive feedback that you will be able to incorporate into the final draft of your project.
At minimum, be sure to address the bullet points below, as they correspond to the grading criteria. You may also want to read the scoring guide and the Guiding Questions: Implementation Plan Design document (linked above) to better understand how each criterion will be assessed. In addition to the bullet points below, provide a brief introduction that refreshes the reader’s memory about your problem statement, as well as the setting and context for which this intervention plan was designed before launching into your implementation plan.
What are the 5 new elements of the Information Security Governance framework.
Assignment Description
Graduate Programs Discussion Boards
Discussion Boards (DB) are a key component of online learning. They foster active participation of learners and dialog with fellow learners and instructors. Graduatelevel courses require learners to create original posts to course DBs and to engage in dialogue by responding to posts created by others throughout the course. Original posts and responses should be substantive, and if references are made to the works of others, APA guidelines for intext citations and references apply.
Minimum Weekly DB Expectations
Post an original and thoughtful Main Post to the DB prompt. Respond to at least 2 other posts from learners and/or the instructor (Response Posts). The first contribution (Main Post or Response Post) must be posted before midnight (Central time) on Friday of each week. Two additional responses are required after Friday of each week. For DB assignment prompts with a Part One and Part Two, Part One should be addressed in the first week of the unit with a Main Post and minimum of 2 Response Posts, and Part Two should be addressed in the second week of the unit with a Main Post and a minimum of 2 Response Posts.
More on DBs
At the end of each unit, DB participation is assessed based on level of engagement and the quality of the contribution to the discussion. DBs allow learners to learn through sharing ideas and experiences as they relate to course content. Because it is not possible to engage in twoway dialogue after a conversation has ended, no posts to the DB are accepted after the end of the unit. Learners must demonstrate an appropriate depth of understanding of course content to receive credit for having submitted substantive posts. Typically, this is achieved with 3–4 strong paragraphs for Main Posts and 2–3 strong paragraphs for Response Posts.
Review the following LinkedIn Learning videos to help you with your assignments in this Unit.
