African Diaspora

Description
Choose one topic and write an in depth paper with a focus on the African American experience in the African
Diaspora. This can be done through the clinical lens of theory, research and treatment outcomes. Topics may
include the arts, education, family life, health/mental health, religion and mythology; economics; immigration.
This is your choice and readings should provide a foundation allowing your inquiry to go deeper in the area of
choice. (My choice is health/mental health). Below there is my outline but I want the focus to be on how African
Americans were mentally and emotionally affected through the lens of their experiences.
