Purpose: This activity will assist you in thinking about your own systems. Genograms and Ecomaps are two different tools that can be used in assessing clients. At times, a small genogram is a part of the Ecomap; representing the Family System (See Figure 12.3, 12.3, 12.4, 12..5 in your text).

To Do:
a) Create your Ecomap (with the Family System Genogram) being represented in the middle.
b) Use the symbols from your text or from your additional readings for both the ecomap and the genogram.
c) Please include a Symbol Key on your document for reference.
d) I would like 3 generations represented in the Family System. (eg. You, your parents, your grandparents) or (Your children, You, Your parents).
