Describe if and how you have been exposed to the topic of suicide and suicide prevention in your traditional academic experience (e.g., high school or college courses)?
Located on the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline website is information targeted specifically to attempt survivors. Included are a number of “Stories of Hope and Recovery” that I would like you to view (https://988lifeline.org/stories/). Please watch several and choose one that speaks to you in some way, caused you to reflect on the topic of suicide differently, and/or taught you something about suicide that you did not know previously. In your post, please respond to the following questions in Number Format. (Note: you are not required to reveal anything personal here nor speak in specifics. I am just asking you to broadly reflect on the topic of suicide and suicide prevention in a way that is comfortable for you.): 1.) Which of the stories posted here, https://988lifeline.org/stories/, affected you the most and why? 2.) What did you learn from this story and/or what can you take away from this story? 3.) Describe if and how you have been exposed to the topic of suicide and suicide prevention in your traditional academic experience (e.g., high school or college courses)? Do you think it is important to teach/discuss on this topic?
