 Gardner identifies eight intelligences that he considers to be part of our birthright.  They are linguistic, logical/mathematical, musical, spatial, bodily kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist. Gardner believed that every person is born with these intelligences but just like we have an unique fingerprint, we have a unique composition of the intelligence. Goleman believed that there are five components to emotional intelligence.Emotional self-awareness, self regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills.
