Philosophy
Level 6 Philosophy dissertation. Standard dissertation structure. Want to keep it simple and straightforward, focusing on scientifically advanced civilisations and cultures throughout history, as well as major periods of scientific advancement. So mainly Ancient Greece and China, Galileo/Copernicus, The Enlightenment Period, and Modern (20th/21st Century) science. Focusing on significant technologies and medicines from the times, discussing their purposes, merit, reasons for coming about, and potential motivating factors e.g. economic or social or both. Also, it should consider if there is a universal driving force behind the pursuit of science as a species and/or civilisation, or instead if there are a variety of different reasons for pursuing scientific advancement. With this we may be able to notice a pattern or trend that makes science more understandable and relatable in some way for everyone that encounters and experiences it in everyday life.
