Overview: Family Interview Plan
The major assignment for this course is an interview of a Family and an assessment of Family
characteristics which is due in Module 5/Week 5. You must schedule an interview date for
performing a family assessment during Module 1/Week 1. This family cannot be yours.
You may use the Friedman Family Assessment Short Form (found in Assignment Module 5-1)
to create your interview plan. Please schedule an interview date and time. This does not need to
be face to face.
Complete this assignment to describe which family you will interview and the plans for the
discussion in the interview. Please provide initials of the family, tentative date of the interview and
how you know the family.
