B. Introduce your three resources
· Explain what makes each resources suitable for your investigation.
· Discuss the process you used to find and choose these resources
C. List and relate the theme to your personal experience
D. List and relate the theme to professional experience
· Discuss how the theme relates to a particular profession or work situation
· Expand your discussion to include the ways in which an understanding of the humanities is beneficial in professional or work settings.
· Provide specific details to support your explanation.
E. Describe your resources
· Provide explicit attention to at least one example each of how your two works/artifacts addressed the themesimilarly, and differently.
· Make sure you are basing you response on the information from your souces and not solely on your opinion.
F. Discuss the Historical context of your works
· Refer specifically to the artist’s use of medium (Visual Art, Music or Literature).
· Use at least two specific examples to help your reader see the choices the artist made in this specific medium to create meaning in your work.
G. Compare your two artifacts
· Declare your thesis. It must make a claim, something a reasonable person could disagree with.
· It must relate to your theme, and it must be specific. Something that you can use evidence to defend, and someone else could argue against.
H. Dicuss the Medium of each work
· Describe the artistic medium, such as the type of literature, music, or sculpture, through which each work was created.
· Discuss how the medium of each work communicates some aspect of its meaning.
I. State your Thesis
· Artifact A and Artifact B should both express theme X
· The theme Xshould be presented in a different ways in Artifact A and Artifact B
· Specify and describe something important about theme X by examing Artifact A and Artifact B
J. Identify your Ideal Audience
· Clearly define your audience
K. Describe specific choices you will make to tailor your message to your audienc, and explain why you think that your audience would be interest in your presentation.
L. Make adjustments for your audience if needed.
M. Add References in APA Style. The sources you cite in your exploration document should have detail in-text citations, this should appear in a more detailed form in your reference list.
