Discussion 2 will pose a different question to each group that asks you to think about how you view the world. Please answer the questions completely using 400-500 words.   Because students who take this course are interested in being better global citizens, I want to get your view on the world. Thinking about the world allows you to think about the past in order to change the future. Research shows that students who think about global issues are more than twice as likely to see the importance of personally taking social action.Below are some interesting research findings related to thinking about the world from a student perspective:In philosophy, normative theories aim to make moral judgments on events, focusing on preserving something deemed as morally good, or preventing a change for the worse. Normative environmental theories include prescriptive sets of values and actions related to the environment. What values related to the environment do you see in yourselves and others that inform your actions? What role should the government (either local or federal) have in regulating the actions of individuals as they relate to the environment globally?
