Regardless of position, role, or level of authority, every nurse is a leader. While many nurses may identify leadership with the person on the unit occupying the corner office or wearing a suit, leadership takes many forms, and leaders can be found in all areas of nursing. In each nurse lies the fruits of the vocation: compassion, wisdom, understanding, and service.
